Thank you for remembering my dad. I missed the interview coz I’m not in Lagos and my senior ones are not in the country. I really appreciate all the lovely comments. God bless you all for loving him so much. 🙏🙏
God bless you ma with your children. You are so composed and matured, beautiful and highly favoured. God’s faithfulness and mercy will not depart from your family in Jesus Name. Love will continue to keep you and the children. I know this video is about 4yrs ago but I’m just watching for the first time.
This woman is simply calm and classy, so beautiful , very intelligent and selected her diction to respond, God be with you and your children. RIP to your only man
This soft spoken madam is also deep in her Yoruba exposition. Mr. Funwontan married a lady worthy of being called First Lady. God will be your strength ma'am
Hmmm April 29 2003 was d year we lost great icon , hero in our town ode Omu a day I will never forget 😢😢😢 I was in jss3 then may his soul rest in perfect peace ❤❤❤❤
Gbenga Adeboye May His Gentle Soul Continue 2 Rest On... Amen 🙏... Lara Adeboye U are such a Responsible Woman ... May Almighty God Continue 2 Be with U and Ur Children... Amen 🙏
This is a typical ijebu woman, very smart indeed. She refused to mention the Name of any helper because people May tag it to something else. A very intelligent woman
Alhaji, pastor, oluwo, abefe jengbetiele, born gr8,died gr8,I never 4get dat day when ur corpse was passing thru my shop in akute,I'm sure angels stood still to receive dis gr8 man,God bless ur children n wife, ile n jeniyan oooooo
Very devoted woman,I love the way she talk, she was very careful in her speech, may God continue to bless her and her children and grant them their heart desire.
The first day I ever cried in my live was the day he died...if my memory serve me right, 30th April, 2003, just about 7 months after we nearly lost him on 6th October 2002. Rest in peace Sir.
Dead is inevitable! I'll never forget you in my life your word of truth really impacted me. We humans we hate the truth we love darkness than the truth. Many hate his words of truth. May his soul continue to rest in peace! greetings from Texas, US to the whole family. May the Lord continue to uphold you both now and evermore!
Gbenga Adeboye, what a legend! Now that I'm older I can see what a prophetic gift his was. I have great memories of his work and wit growing . Rest on King. We love you
Abefe Okin, RIP jengbetiele Alaya Malale ekun oko molara!!! Your sons are ur replica but its so painful they were extremely young during the demise of their father, i hope they get to watch and listen to all his recordings....He lives forever.
Uhm so touching, Gbenga Adeboye alabefe, continue to rest in peace, his sons really look like him an d wife really spoke well an she feels like crying I think
I so much cherish aunty Omolara but old age as caught up with her, may your soul continue to rest in peace Gbenga Adeboye. April 29,2003 is a day i cannot forget
May he continue to rest in peace. He was an exceptional artist, humble and insanely talented! I was sad when he passed away and some of the jokes I picked up from him I still cracked the jokes till today. And his "English" was one in town...In a tegralacious fathercity, one tends to be racumatically glumeted to a santacious jekuedu provided a jailoquent feremity is semantatically merulised .......................rest in peace! Gbenga Adeboye! RIP
For anyone not to listen to Gbenga's creation it's hard to. Even worse for a wife of an artist to show little or no interest in their husband creations. Gbenga Adeboye was an incredible man and incredible husband. Ofcourse, an incredible artist.
Criticalthinking01 very correct he must have the heart of gold to not count another meaning to the fact that she was not listening to all those his master peace
You heard her , she said she was not cut out for the indigenous cultural stuff neither Fuji nor Appalachian, she was a Federal chick with clear calm diction befitting an aristocratic QUEEN, in fact she literally called them her *alebu* but flip it round she must have given Gbenga his space and rather than be an hindrance she was the reason we got to have those masterpiece records from Adeboye. Our prayers and thoughts are with you Omolara pele ku idilemu , Jesu to duro ti e Ko ni fi e sile tomotomo .
@@Michael28pc Besides I feel we should not misunderstand her. Remember at the beginning that what attracted her to Gbenga was that jovial and comedious nature. So it is not entirely correct to say she doesn't enjoy these things. On their first day she was not expecting a relationship, but someone who would come and make her laugh. So we only feel like that bcos we are his fans. Whenever you are living with the original, the photocopy would not be a big deal to you. What Gbenga packaged into cassettes for the fans are like photocopies. She is the one that enjoyed the real jokes in raw form with Gbenga when they are together. So it may not be a big deal having to sit down and be listening to what he recorded.
May Alhadji, Pastor Oluwo rest in peace IJN, amen. ALMIGHTY GOD will never leave nor forsake you and the children my darling sister. You are better as you are, Gbenga was the only original husband for you, any others will definitely be counterfeit. Today's men act like "raiders of the lost ark". Do not let them come and steal your joy. I am talking from a 40 years experience. Ko si nkankan Nita afi ole. Please Olotu kindly bring Mrs Fajemileyin, the wife of the late Mr. Opeyemi Fajemileyin akorowosi to mogbede. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace IJN, amen.
A very nice interview. I got to know about Gbenga Adeboye 6 months before he died through a radio presentation by Obalola here in London. His talent and delivery bawled me over. May he continue to rest peacefully. Best regards to his wife and children.
Till Jesus come , we can't see anyone like u anymore gbenga , there are things that can never happen , and some of it be say we can't see another gbenga , continue to rest in peace alabefe
