Just a friendly fyi-HR Giger helped inspire and design The Xenomorphs from Alien and Aliens.. Stan Winston and his studio designed The Predator 😊, and his shoulder weapon is called a Plasmacaster

I like your review, although I’m leaning towards the other side that I feel like it’s awesome. Sure you’re spot on about some of the detail like in the shoulder cannon. One thing to mention about that, is that this figure is a upscaled version of the original NECA Predators. So no torso ball joint, it has a swivel in the thigh’s, the dreads are a different plastic. It just doesn’t carry the new detail like the 7” Ultimate figures do compared to those older style ones. I would suggest maybe a hair dryer (no joke intended) to reshape those dreads into position. I would like you mentioned, loved to have seen NECA increase the price point if that supported more detail overall. 👍

Will definitely try the hair dryer trick. I'm Really spoiled because I am so used to the Hot toys version and it is super detailed. Still, I love the scale. I have an original release 1/4 City Hunter from Predator 2 and holy shit... the difference between the dreads and details is staggering. City Hunter even has the tied and separate medium loin cloth. Shame.
@@RAUDEZA Yea I'm really surprised they didn't keep the string tied & separate piece loin cloth! But still for the price these 1/4s have always been amazing and a beautiful addition for anyone Predator obsessed (like myself). This video convinced me to track one down here in Canada NiB and pull the trigger, so thank you very much. Happy to sub!
