My brother and I are in our mid-late 20s and we went in with the same skeptical yet hopeful feeling. We both had a blast watching it and are definitely going to tune in again in the future. Called our dad who’s 70 and told him to turn on ESPN and he actually enjoyed it too! Surprisingly effective cross-generational appeal. Looking forward to watching more!

Show the green rotating and changing slopes between holes with a face on view once the change is complete. It will help the viewer understand what’s happening on the screen with approach shots. Looking at a 2d object and basically a screen through a screen it’s hard to distinguish the slope and breaks on the green when the 3D object is directly behind the viewer. The green is by far the coolest tech on tgl. Simulators are incredible and amazing tech, but are not new.

Nobody here during these events is asking for points, exemptions, or claiming they are the best iron players of the last 2 decades. LMAO. This TGL was entertaining. It was more interesting than 80% of PGA events... but doesn't come close to being at a LIV tournament, or even viewing a LIV tournament. And the PGA fan boy hypocrisy is bewildering. But I love the insanity of American ignorance too! Keep it up, lads!

I gave this 30 minutes and couldn't get over the idea that the display was just from six 12 yr olds playing PGA Tour 2k25 from somewhere in the Midwest.

No, it’ll just be an additional format of the game. A bit like how rugby has rugby union and rugby league. What I anticipate happening is that a new, younger generation of sim-only golfers will be created, but real golf will still exist and be the predominant format of the game.

I would love to know what audio system they used for the players microphones. This has been a challenge to capture crisp, clean audio and I was impressed with the production pulled together last night! I can appreciate the level of work and detail that went into the planning of this production. Well Done, TGL Team!!
