I think it is because her voice suits much more as a lead vocalist. As a lead vocalist, you don’t necessary has to belt notes and adlibs. In this situation, I think her voice is much more charminh and attractive as a lead vocalist who usually handle parts like pre chorus (usually is the center of attention) and occasionally chorus. Main vocalists, from time to time, don’t get to sing the charming part but the heavily vocal parts. So I think SeolA, even though is capable of being a main vocalist, a lead vocal position suits her more. Same goes to Dayoung as well. In my opinion, Dawon, Soobin and Yeonjung have the vocal power more than SeolA who naturally has less-power voice (than the 3 main vocalists) if you understand what I mean. Like her voice would usually be the voice that sing a lot in a song, not necessary the main vocalist part of the song.
