I wouldn’t compare him to Mozart or Beethoven. Granted, he is a genius, but he is no where near as much as a genius as the greatest composers of our time, such as Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, Tchaikovsky, Shostakovich, and so forth.

that would solve so many problems, I truly believe that. His IQ is probably two times that of the orange guy.
In an interview, Lin said that he'd rather do anything than run for president.
Lin had said that he would rather do anything in the world, than get into politics and run for President. His father was involved in political campaigns and that side of it, he’s seen it and he wants no part of it.
I gotta agree, I think that being in politics would actually crush and destroy him, it would smother his flame a bit and I would never want that for him. Let him be the amazing person he is for the world, the world needs that, let someone else take on the mantle of being president.

It's like he learned from Hamilton: if you don't listen to your wife when she tells you "take a break" you are in for a world of trouble ;)
Oh I hadn't thought of that. In all of his research into Hamilton, he's had a chance to kind of understand him and see the similarities between them, and take power in that. But he can also look at what went wrong with Hamilton's ambitious, hard-driving, running-out-of-time, live fast and die young lifestyle, and take some warnings about what not to do and how not to meet a sadly early end.
Hurricane Maria, I guess Lin Manuel Miranda’s “Hurricane” (in Hamilton) makes even more sense.

This interview is comfort food for the soul, but the healthy kind, because I don't feel guilty about eating it after. Very polite and nice interviewer, kind hearted and polite interviewee, warm feelings all around. It's like a comforting hug encompassed into an 18 minute long video. Thank you, I really needed this. Also, thanks for the reminder, I do need more sleep. I'll keep that in mind the next time I feel the sudden urge to binge watch miniature baking videos!

Lin Manuel-Miranda has been such an inspiration for me for years. I’ve always loved theater, singing, and I’ve been playing piano since I was 8 years old. When I was 14 in 2020, I found his musical Hamilton on Disney+. I was transported to an entire new world of music and theater. It was absolutely beautiful! I hope he knows how much of a difference he’s made to people all over the world, and I hope one day I can make my own music! 🤗💜
