Dominik Szoboszlai: Liverpool sign midfielder from RB Leipzig in £60m deal

Liverpool have completed the signing of Dominik Szoboszlai from RB Leipzig for £60m, with the midfielder signing a five-year contract until 2028.
Newcastle had also been interested in the 22-year-old midfielder, but once Szoboszlai made clear his desire to move to Anfield, it removed all other interested parties from the equation.
There was a breakthrough in negotiations on Friday as Liverpool agreed to trigger his £60m release clause.

I'm Hungarian as well and saw Dom play live multiple times.
He summed it up quite well, people have been saying he plays very very similarly to Kevin de Bruyne and I can say that it's also true. As he said, his versatility is something extraordinary, as well as his link up play, his vision, set piece taking skills and shooting as well. He is a very well rounded player and already a midfield maestro, definitely has the potential to become one of the best midfield players in the world under Klopp without exaggerating.

Personally I'd push Trent into midfield and get a quality right back then if there is an injury then Trent can drop back as emergency cover and someone like Thiago or Hendo can cover midfield. No need to purchase another midfielder as TAA has proven he is more than capable there. I also like the fact that players are starting to be able to play different positions, gives a lot of options as well as headaches for the opposition teams.

Our owner is really into budgeting. However, they already show they care to our club since they take over. Bring Klopp, buy players he need, win trophies, build training center, renovation stadium and give back to community. I think with injury problems last season and some players leave, they know we need to sign players this window.
