My brother studied languages at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in California. The pace of study was intense. Students had to master the language course in 36-64 weeks. Psychologically it was very difficult, but fortunately he was helped by Yuriy Ivantsiv's book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages”. Hi Olya, thanks for your video. This is very helpful. But I am confused about the verb "розрахуватися." Is there a difference between that verb and "платити" ?
Thanks for watching! Both verbs mean to pay 🙂
Very useful! I did a puppet show for some Ukrainian kids recently and was trying to use some words. The problem was my pronunciation was more like Russian on some.
I'm glad to read this! Thank you for watching 💙💛 it's okay to not pronounce some words with an accent, especially when you're just starting to learn!
TY again Olya.
💙💛
I too believe in learning whole phrases
Yes! It's a great way to learn 👌
You’re great! 👍
Thank you! 💙
Keep it up your videos. It is very useful.❤
I will! Thank you for watching!
Привіт! Я намагаюся вивчити нову мову, але у мене виникли проблеми, тому я скористався Google і UA-cam, щоб допомогти. дякую за це корисне відео!

Hello! I'm trying to learn a new language but I'm having trouble so I've been using google and youtube to help. thanks for this helpful video!
I'm glad it's helpful! Hope you enjoy learning!
Such a great effort. I solute's you.
Thank you! 😊
Thank you so much for the very useful phrases! It is hard to find reliable translations online. Hearing the words being used by a native speaker makes me feel more confident that I know what I’m saying will be right. Please keep the videos like this coming! My only advice would be to maybe add romanized version of the words with the Ukrainian and English. I am still learning the alphabet and seeing the English sounds for the word really helps me out to break down the sounds of the word and say it back.
I will consider that! Thank you for watching 💙💛🙏
Hi i'm from Ukraine. I'd help y with Ukrainian

Pardon my curiosity, but why does "замовлення" in the "masculine" sentence become "замовдення" in the feminine one (8:14)? Just a typo ?
There is no masculine or feminine sentence. Just "замовлення"
Hello. Yes, just a typo, sorry
I hope and pray that you are well through this horrific time in Ukraine. May peace return to your country.

Спасибо! ❤️🇺🇦❤️. Конечно подписалась и должна заговорить.
26:33 - це помилка?
Yes, a typo :) my bad.
Thank you.
Thanks for the useful video! I have a question: Why do we have to put "б" or "би" after "хотіла" in front of "копити"? я хотіла б копити..
Б doesn't have a particular meaning here, but combined with Я хотіла, it means I would like to or I would want to buy. Without б "я хотіла купити" just means " I wanted to buy"
Чудовий канал🩵💛
Дякую!

Wow great! But it's hard for me to read the Cyrillic that fast and repeat everything.
Me Spanish English now Ukrainian learning yeah I will try sure 😊
11:54 чи можна також казати "рахунок"?
Можна!
I miss you like your beautiful teaching
Thank you!
Good video. Could you please slow it down. Our brains have to process the info. Then we need time to say it right after you say it. Also some other videos show how to say it using English alphabet. This is very helpful to us?
Great suggestion, I'll think what I can do!
God bless you
😊❤️
When is the “100 MORE useful phrases” video coming?
