Amazing performance from that kitchen knife. It's definitely not the normal looking kitchen knife though, it looks like the king of kitchen knives, especially with your etching mod, haha.
Very interesting...you will have to excuse me but I couldn’t make out what maker you called that knife? I have what looks to be the very same knife other than mine looks 100 years old, wood scales, and about a cm shorter (busted tip). It is a knife I inherited, I remember it from an old cabin my family had as a kid in the 1960’s and it was old looking even then. This thing is definitely a carbon steel and I’ve always found it’s heavy nature and how it’s ground interesting. It also appears to have a 4 to 5 mm lamination line above the edge. No markings on the blade and I have always been curious of it’s origin. I think it may have even been rehandled.
What’s funny is just this month I started playing with it thinking of how to restore it and make a sheath. I would bet it would chop well above it’s weight class...
Ork satan da! Du skulle have lavet den video her for længe siden Esben, alle de penge vi kunne have sparet på knive🤣 fandme bare tage en dolk fra køkkenet og så køre vi tøsedreng🤜🤛😅
Kitchen knives are usually made softer than a field knife so not surprised it took a beating!
Bad ass 😎👌🏻
