  • when you can't push through anymore...here's how to get out of your nervous system’s freeze response👇🏼
if you’ve been through a lot of trauma over a prolonged period of time, your body & your nervous system can start to shutdown
your nervous system won’t allow you to “push through” anymore, and instead it goes into a freeze / hibernation / threat state (imagine a deer in headlights)
this isn’t your fault! it is an automnomic, physiological reaction to the amount of stress and trauma you’ve gone through 😮‍💨
your body is conserving energy to survive a threat
when you’re in freeze state, you may also experience physical and emotional symptoms like:
✨inability to get out of bed
    ✨inability to finish tasks
✨canceling plans you’ve had for weeks
    ✨not texting back
    ✨immobility (stuck on the couch)
✨numbness or tingling in your limbs
    ✨stomachaches
    ✨lightheadedness, dizziness, vertigo
✨feeling disconnected from your body / feelings
✨low energy / lack of motivation
    ✨feeling constantly overwhelmed/stuck/frozen
    ✨frequent dissociation / procrastination
the good news is you can get out of this freeze / threat state in 60 days with somatic exercises 💖
somatic exercises are a clear pathway into reconnecting to your body & your emotions 💖
these exercises release stored trauma & pent up survival energy that’s been making you feel stuck, disconnected or dissociated 🙌🏼
after you release, your nervous system will be regulated again & your body will no longer be in it’s threat state, instead you’ll feel much safer 🙌🏼
you’ll feel significantly lighter both physically and emotionally ✨
your unexplained apathy, exhaustion, & procrastination will be reduced and you’ll have a ton more energy 💪🏼
you’ll feel emotionally stable, grounded, & aware ✨
regulating your nervous system is like hitting the reset button on your life ✌🏼
do you want to stop procrastinating & get out of this threat state?
get guided through the step by step 👇🏼
heal your nervous system (3 course bundle) 🔗 on profile 💖✌🏼💖

The best way to get rid of the freeze state. I bet we all are suffering of loneliness. Otherwise talk to yourself each time you do something. Just to realize it's possible. For example : I am going to have a walk of 15 minutes because it's good for me.

This is me. Thinking it’s a trauma response to the last 18 months. I’ve turned into a total introvert and isolated myself. I’m aware just not able to overcome the hump. It’s gotten worse since my longtime doctor doesn’t want to mess with prescribing my long time AdHD meds anymore

I'm really sorry you're going through this. It's hard when trauma and medication changes impact your life. Reaching out for support, whether it's a new doctor, therapist, or trusted friend, might help you take the first step. You’re not alone, and it's okay to ask for help.

So what do you do if your bed bound because you're trying to recover from an illness? For me the staying in bed as often as possible or as much as possible is why I do all the other things. Worldwide certain things don't get done like laundry.
I like to save to my playlist songs that are random and will get me out of bed so that I can boogie for at least a few minutes before I have to lay down again. This is more of a if I'm up and about moving around then I'm leaking from my stomach fluids that should never leave the body unless they're made into poop...
So yes I feel gross and I don't want to hurt nobody make them sick or make a mess that I'm not able to clean up and my dog does it for me. So staying in bed for me is a better option an easier for me to clean up. Plus I've been vented a lot of cool gadgets out of necessity in order to make this process manageable.

Escaping this freeze state is literally learning how to force yourself out of bed. It won't feel good at first. You have to commit to doing things that are both what you need and want.
Maybe you don't have a full appetite but maybe you had a granola bar and yogurt.
Maybe you don't wanna walk out side but you'll settle for getting some sun.
Maybe you don't wanna do a full workout but maybe you'll do a relaxing 15 toga sess.
If your body what it needs; to get the pick me up brain chemicals going. So you can hopefully get the things you need done started..
Make a plan; and if you habw someone in your life. Tell them you're struggling.

Limit how often you sit in bed. Or sit down. Set timers because for us; our body forgets to not shut down if we're down for too long.
It really is a lifelong battle of chess

It sounds like you're doing your best to manage a challenging situation, and it's great that you've found creative ways to cope. If staying in bed helps you manage your symptoms and energy levels, then it’s important to honor what your body needs. Your playlist idea is fantastic for adding a bit of joy and movement when you can. Remember, it’s okay to seek support from others when needed, and be kind to yourself through this process. You're doing an amazing job navigating this difficult journey.

It's Neurasthenia. Go back to natural order of things to help your nerves. Reduce cortisol and norepinephrine by reducing sources of worry. News, coffee, bad relationships and horrible jobs. Then begin by feeling your pent up feelings. Reconnect with friends or make new ones. Humans weren't meant to be wired to technology or being wed to their jobs, no matter how much they pay. Maintenance of mental health is important. Pharmaceuticals help. Zolpidem for insomnia, vitamin B6/9/12 supplements, vitamin D and C supplements, micronutrient support (Zinc, Molybdenum and Selenium).
