This series really captures Port Protection exactly how it is, a beautiful, musical, laid back, village full of awesome people who work hard all day and know how to play! Thank you for capturing that. I hope people will see this and realize that what is on national television is what the producers in California think their audience wants to see, and not how it really is. You did an amazing job!
+Gina Curwick Hi Gina, Thanks so much for saying that. Yeah, Hollywood likes conflict but the Port Protection I saw was filled with laid back people living in a great community. Appreciate the feedback and glad you liked the show! Ellard
I 👍 agree. I have watched the show and now these series. I am really enjoying these. The peace, unity, love and compassion of free souls... Makes others see the possibilities of a better, freer, yet more challenging life in an Alaskan Village. 😊
its good to see everyone...thanks for including us in the foray....Amanda its so good to see you again....you are missed fershir.....from the interior bush...
I loved your joy! It permeated everything - the people, the food, the celebration. Good food photography - you could almost smell the chowder as it was stirred, the breaded clams - closeup shots! And Amanda's sweet smile!
That's exactly how PP was. Full of joy, great food, and kind people. Thanks for feedback and thanks for watching. Check our new episode about Nakajima Island. It's like the Japanese version of PP.
Thanks Skyler. Port Protection is a real place for sure. A lot of great people and natural beauty. It is funny to watch the NatGeo show and then my series because the NatGeo show is so gloomy and mine so upbeat. I was also there in the Summer which is a lot brighter time in PP. Stay tuned to our station as I plan to do another CETV series called "Return to Port Protection."
@@theCulinaryEdgeTV The reason NatGeo show is so gloomy is because human nature wants to see struggle and triumph at the end...a lot of shows are like that these day...thank you so much for doing this series...I live vicariously through these videos as most subscribers do too..thank you
Me again! Hubs worked maintenance with Simpson. I worked the office and store. We lived in the "Penthouse" apt. lol. Anyway, that Solstice Festival blew me away. Good times for sure. Can't wait to see your next video. Have fun!
Because Port Protection has just a few people living there where are the people in the television series? The only one I see is the newcomer I think her name is Amanda?
There's about 55 people in Port P so the NetGeo show only covers a few but besides Amanda Jiggy (Mike) makes an appearance in our show and the NatGeo show. Also the NatGeo show has been shot mostly in winter and our series was shot in the Summer.
Geez their hardly doing without are they !!! They so remote but they eat better than most . Total food feast - I would be fat as a party pig 🍻🎊 🐖 any single men there wanna get married
It's true the food is amazing. Best seafood ever but they do a lot of work to get their food and there are no restaurants so you have to cook yourself. People are always working on something, too. Yes, there are a lot of single men in Alaska. You should go visit.
How long wish to be there, nothing like a great gathering, blessings ❤.
Yes!!!

@@donfarnsworth1152 that’s true and NatGeo does film in the winter which is definitely a contrast from summer.
Used to live near there at remote Port Alice, AK!
Seafood Chowder, good stuff!
The local Kine!
Hubs and I were working for Jack while you were there filming. Like I said, Seafood Chowder, yum! lol

Where are the rest of the regulars from the show?
You must mean the other Port Protection on Nat Geo right?
I hope you keep in touch with the beautiful Red ahead
Right. The Red Foxx is a sweetheart but lost touch. May be time to send her a shout out.
14:14 is my favorite part #elvis #elvira
Call me what you want just call me for dinner!
I’m disappointed I did not see curly and the other regulars from the tv show
Stay tuned for Return to Port P
