Actually Kevin is okay. And Scott is the real insult to the show. I’m not saying anything here to hate on him here or anything like that. But He just is always a pain in the rear end to watch
Yeah, this cutsie number game is ridiculous. "Usually" the number is followed by 3 zeros. Until you get into trailer park country and then you drop a zero. This seller wasn't far from that and wanted to feel big. Well, mentally.....he already is.....
$4,500 for a 69 2 door Cadillac that's runs and drives is a pretty good deal. Then you add in who owned it and all the parts are there. Sure it needs new sheet metal but the glass is there, the chrome trim is there, the interior is there, plus you won't have to hunt down a title. Danny, that's a steal.
I am glad he paid the asking price as the guy was a real fair seller As a car guy he most likely wanted Danny to take it and show it some love Love to see what Danny did with it
Can't wait to see the upcoming full episode to fully restore this classic Cadillac Eldorado soon! Just don't come across cars like this even if you still have to do a complete resto to bring it back into it's glory days of excellence! *(GEORGE BARRIS CLASSIC)*
@@tonyz2834 if you had the option of paying less for something would you? like if you see a cheaper price for the same item in the same condition for another let’s say 400-500 less than the first option. Short answer yes you would and that’s the same with businesses they buy things to turn a profit simple as that
They do it for drama... Especially when they are talking 5 figures plus and a thousand makes the deal. From a pure business side I get that, but are you gonna cave because your Profit drops a K?
When Danny says, “It needs everything”: well, we know. You didn’t show up to buy a keys-and-go daily, Danny, you came to get a solid platform for a custom car, and custom cars usually need “everything” anyway. Price was very, very fair…
Just traded my 2003 Mercedes Benz C320 in fair condition for one of these. The guy I traded it to only wanted $1,500 or best can’t believe it! Can’t wait till it’s completely fixed up, I’m pumped !
My buddy had a peal white one it was beautiful most classy car I’m not a gm person but this is nice I prefer mopar I believe my buddy’s was earlier and it looked a lot better nicer lines that’s not bad for a barris car
CLICKBAIT ALERT! Where's the car that's pictured at the beginning of this video? And yes i do realize that they both were probably built by George Barris.
@@terrijudisch2860 Just did. You were right. Although all i saw was a brief shot of a still picture. Was hoping for a little more than that. But oh well. I'll live.
Great show. Says it's reality. Its not. Its scripted. Acting. Acting isn't reality. When this show first started, it was reality. As time went on they steered away from that. I still say they need to treat Mike with respect. They need him. Mike can go anywhere with his artistic ability. I'm surprised he hasn't done this already. Mike is ok in my book.
My husband and I have a warehouse and 27 acres of privately owned cars and parts. We've been doing this for a long time. We made our money while opened as a business. We closed it, got rid of late model wrecks but stripped them of key parts, crushed the rest. Now we build our own stuff. We kept the vintage. Have to admit we got some nice stuff. We have a few here and there getting some outside work done. We thought of Counts Kustoms. We watched the show but we need to know if our investment will be done in a timely fashion. Quality work. A BIG question mark with this shop lingers to a point that we said NO 👎 to this outfit. Tv has had its way with this shop that it's all Danny and Ryan. You'd think their joined somehow. We checked around Vegas first at what the talk is about that shop and we decided to go with another and the work has been first rate and on time. We do not believe this would have happened with Counts.
You can't lose I seen fast and loud we're Richard takes on a bronco that sold for 50k with way lot more rust than this 2 door Cadillac that had no famous owner you can't lose $4500 and runs drive if this is a decision you wouldn't make you shouldn't be working in car restoration business i guess that's why count has you in the paint booth were your opinions don't matter
This was my father's car I've been trying to trace it forever please if anyone knows who currently owns this please contact me his name was Pierce Allen he was the original owner from Akron Ohio then he moved to Vagas and passed away this was in his garage and it was in his estate but never got any info until now please help me locate this car it means a lot to me and I know all the history
He should have offered him a box of burritos. Hold it up in front of him, and say I'm leaving, he'd say wait wait come back, I'll give you the title! Without proof that it's from Beres, that car isn't worth much. Contrary to the other commenters, I think $2,000 is for a non virus car like that would be absolute tops, big money pits. Danny will have a hard time getting his money back from that car if he tries to fix it up
Danny is a down to earth guy who plays fair. Good for him.
Danny is great guy Kevin is a insult to show we're not that stupid
Actually Kevin is okay. And Scott is the real insult to the show. I’m not saying anything here to hate on him here or anything like that. But He just is always a pain in the rear end to watch
When he said 45, I almost thought he meant 45,000. But 4500 for something like that, take the keys and drive it like you stole it.
Right on/Ride on!!!!!
I thought 45 k too. I’m surprised he didn’t want any proof that guy fixed it up. But I guess he recognized the work?
Me 2
Yeah, this cutsie number game is ridiculous.

This seller wasn't far from that and wanted to feel big.
Well, mentally.....he already is.....
Oh, when you get in the actual trailer park...drop another zero...
I love Danny.. he had every reason to ask for a lower price, but he didn’t. Just two car lovers making a deal. Love it.
Right on. I thought the 4500 was a fair price too. He probably could've easily asked five plus.

Is it just me or is the picture of the video A crazy hot rod
fallout prop guy it's the "Kreepy Koach" from a TV show called "The Munsters".
It’s called click bait
We were fooled by thumbnail
It's the car from "The Munsters", a photo of it is shown in the video talking about George Barris's custom creations.
And it's a fast one. That one was built before Ralph Nader stepped in to make cars slow
Count is not like Rick from Pawn Stars . Gotta love that
Danny you got a deal, if that is truly a Barris custom.
I liked the Munster's car better than the batmobile.
I am glad he paid the asking price as the guy was a real fair seller
As a car guy he most likely wanted Danny to take it and show it some love
Love to see what Danny did with it
George Barris was always my hero of this 40 year plus mechanic the covered wagon and the multi engine customs he did were my favorites
2021 garages are not designed to hold this size of car.
It's pocket change to be able to preserve a Barris creation.
Can't wait to see the upcoming full episode to fully restore this classic Cadillac Eldorado soon!
Just don't come across cars like this even if you still have to do a complete resto to bring it back into it's glory days of excellence!

Everyone loves Danny the king of Cool. Two years running and Counts Kustom, has yet to post a completed version of George Barris's Cadillac.
@@anthonybarlow8708I fear it may have been beyond repair and not worth fixing.
Big led sled... Props to the count for doing honest business
Yep he walks if it is too high and Doesn’t work for him. Instead of beating up the seller
The thumbnail is misleading. I was expecting the Dragula car how dumb of me
I wish I could have seen what they did with this car.
He shouldve called Rick Harrison to come appraise it
CAN'T wait to see the following on that purchase.
Rick (from pawn stars) would’ve gotten this for $800
RESPECT!!!..... THAT YOU DIDN'T TRY TALKING HIM DOWN, I mean you have your own TV show for God sake 😎
doesnt matter what you have, now at days. i would still talk people down even if i was a billionaire
5 Twenty ...... You petty dirt bag

for something theyre that interested in & the $$ the show pulls in... 4500 shouldnt be an issue
Driving the car back into the garage was a negotiation move!
Notice the rear window has been made smaller by Barris. Is there a follow-up vid on this Eldo?
$4,500.00 is cheap. I would have bought it too and drove it like that. Get the documents framed and diplay it at carshows.
you wouldn't fix the rust holes in the trunk? at least
0:41 Rob Zombie Car from Twisted Metal 4
yes, the dragula car in his music video which was directly inspired from The Munsters car int he tv show.(which ROb Zombie was a HUGE fan of)
Gotta love Danny
Are they really getting worked up over 4500 like it's a life changing decision? Surely hes got that kind of money to invest in that position
They do it for drama...
Especially when they are talking 5 figures plus and a thousand makes the deal.
From a pure business side I get that, but are you gonna cave because your Profit drops a K?
by far my favorite car
If it were Rick Harrison he would be oooh. Well it needs alot of work i wont be able to sell it. Ill give you 50 bucks for it
And I'm taking all the rick
and then take it to danny
He'll have to get it framed and everything

rick would have been like 2 grand and I am taking a risk
That was a cool one! I really dont temember seeing this one and i know ive seen them all!!
Thumbnail tricked me lol
Fixed up, what do you think he will sell it for?
love watching counting cars living in britian i dont get to see so many beautiful cars 👍👍
probably 30k+
25k
I say 45k
Danny would probably keep it
Maan youre killin the messenger. . .lol
That's so cool 😊
4500? Well considering restored with G B on there as owner prev.. I would say done worth 45,000. Can you say he stole it? Yeh.....
Met george barris and still have his autograph
A little rough but Eldorados are moving up and $4500 is fair but not a steal
No actual documents/paperwork might hurt it. I most likely authentic but still conjecture.
They gotta do a 1993 Cadillac eldorado touring coupe
Counts custom and Gabriel Iglesias on the same show?! Jackpot!
rick harrison woulda got it for 2k
i love being able to brag being related to george barrus
Downvoted for misleading thumbnail
Actually vantage cars look cool & beautiful. Wow !!!
Vintage?
Yeah- Easy Money! Paint it black with chrome trim!
He wrong for that thumb mail or nail witch ever it is

Sold. Sold. Sold. I need a 69 eldorado to replace my dads
My buddy had a peal white one it was beautiful most classy car I’m not a gm person but this is nice I prefer mopar I believe my buddy’s was earlier and it looked a lot better nicer lines that’s not bad for a barris car
Why do it up, just keep it as it is

I've seen worse for more.
Is this show still airing? New episodes?
The new season starts tonight in the USA. Don't know when we get it, but shouldn't be too far behind.
Rick: Best I can do is take it off your hands for free, and I'm taking a big risk here.

I like the 73' eldorado better
If it’s never been touched why would you restore it?
Because the car is rotten. Having holes in the floorboards means there's a whole lot more cleanup and welding to do to get it safe and roadworthy.
Bogdanoff's Servant fix the floors yea but leave the exterior the way George Barris built it your never gonna get another car that he built.
What ever happened to this thing?
