- Sunday, February 1, 2015 - Melissa Etheridge goes to the Farmers Market in Malibu, CA with wife Linda Wallem and children Johnnie Rose and Miller Steven. When asked their pick for today's Super Bowl, Wallem says "we're heartbroken," and Etheridge continues, "we're Packers fans."
I have always enjoyed her music but never knew how large and diverse her catalog was .
I also never knew how spiritial she was but have always been drawn to her.
I'm so relieved she was cordial and not rude or hateful.
She is so generous....most celebs would not be so laid back.
Dude, HOW RUDE! Leave them alone and let them go on with thier day. So annoying. I feel annoyed for them while watching this video. I am a lesbian who came out in the 1990s and am a HUGE FAN and can honestly say that her music helped save my life. However, if I was in that situation I would not approach her like this unless it looked like she was receptive to it. It's called taking social cues, and the social cues she was giving off indicated that she did not want to be bothered, and that's okay! She was kind and gracious to you which is more than you deserved! Also, I certainly would not record her or take a photograph without asking first. Of course, you're perfectly in your legal right, but it's just rude AF. She's a person too and is deserving of courtesy and respect just like anyone else. Would you record and follow a random stranger to thier car as they're clearly walking away and trying to get away from you? I certainly hope not. You seem like a dang creeper in this video. Maybe, just MAYBE, if I saw her and was close enough, and she seemed receptive, I would say hi Ms. Etheridge, I'm a huge fan and your music changed my life and helped me come out. Then, if she seemed to be in a hurry or not feeling receptive to speaking with me further, I'd leave. I've seen many celebrities in my life and I've never once behaved so rudely as you did. Wow this is a long rant but I'm just really angry and annoyed with this video. I hope you take my comments into consideration if you have any future encounters with celebrities. Take care.

CandyCane Vintage, I know you know, that only the 2 younger kids are from the ex-wife, Tammy. Twins, I think? And, of course, Melissa’s 2 oldest, are from her first LTR, Julie Cypher. Were they married, too? I think so, but I’m not entirely sure about that. If not at first, then maybe when the Equality of Marriage Act was passed into Law. The timeline just doesn’t really work in Julie Cypher’s case, imo. Could be, that I’m mistaken.
Speaking directly to your comment,... I know all the kids belong to both Melissa and her 2 ex-wives. I doubt that MLE and her current Wife, (is her name) Kathy(?), probably won’t have anymore children. Melissa and I are around the same age, and I don’t envy her having 2 sets of kids, so far apart in age. The “babies” will take that much longer to become grown enough to become quasi-independent of their Parents. Melissa is already 60, or thereabouts. IDK how old the Twins are. Personally, if I still had very young kids to raise, at my age, I’d be not as confident in my ability to continue Parenting, as Melissa is. But, Parents, usually find the strength and their 2nd wind to keep Parenting. Kudos to Melissa and Kathy (?) for that ongoing commitment, and much happiness/fulfillment in both their lives.

That was cute, I mean it’s weird I’m sure to be filmed, but the camera guy was sweet and not invasive, said nice stuff to her children, we do love her music. 😆 true. Sorry their team didn’t win.
