YALL, WE DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was hard, but its finally over. good job, guys... Charles is proud
i’m sad bc i know i would’ve enjoyed this book if i wasn’t forced to read the entire thing in three weeks and given all these homework assignments to go along with it 😞
Same 😂😭
I did that freshman year of highschool. It broke me I dropped to regular English after that. Here I am 23 giving it (gave I guess) another shot and it’s a really good book. You won’t be disappointed doing so.
Same freshman year sucked cuz of this
Omg same same ..I'm listening to this after 60 years ago trying to understanding this in high school .. 😂😂
YES! The book was incredible but having to time crunch and finish this book and a work packet by Friday is just miserable.
It is so satisfying to hear the narrator say "end of great expectations"
i made it through the whole damn thing wow
Andrea ˊᗜˋ but I read the two endings
2 years has past and we still need to read the same shit
now for the essay i have to write 😐
Real
Me too although 4 years later lol
Let me tell you when I heard our ✨amazing✨ narrator say:
"End of Chapter 59. End of Great Expectations by Charles Dickens".
The pure JOY IN MY HEART AHHH!!😭😭😭
thank you so much Mil Nicholson. your voice really needs a break
Thank you for posting. Excellent audiobook. The voices are so alive and accurate. Very similar to the original film.
A real pleasure to listen to!
Beautiful characters, beautiful ending, beautiful story, and a beautiful reading of it. Thank you so much for this audio recording. It truly did the novel more justice to me than when I read it alone.
Fun fact, this is the second ending wrote for the book. Some books include an original ending, but one of Dicken’s friends told he to write a better one
@@elliottrupnow5020 What was the original ending?
Narrator is a true king 👑 thank you
Although I had to spend many hours, tired, reading this, I am thankful that the narrator devoted so much of their time towards this audiobook. Thank you
I really would have enjoyed this if I hadn’t been forced to do all this homework and read it so fast
We’re on the home stretch now. Don’t give up
A great sendoff. I am so happy to finish this book and have it end the way it did.
This recording was invaluable to me! Thanks so much!
Thank you for reading this great story. "Thankee"
it makes me happy to see that mostly everyone who made it through the whole book enjoyed it. I did too :)
A MASTERPIECE! What a beautiful, rich tapestry; encompassing and beautifully describing all of life’s stages and all of its emotions, and the beauty of striving for goodness. God bless Charles Dickens.
Glad to see some more positive comments under this chapter. I first read this book in high school (by choice; I did not go to public school and no one assigned this book to me) but by now I had forgotten how it ended. I was inspired to reread it out of my fondness for the charming South Park adaptation.
Too good! Thoroughly enjoyed the audiobook. Very well read!
I finally did it!!!! I really enjoyed this book even tho i was forced to read it. I hope anyone who reads/listens to this book in the future enjoys it to. Farewell guys.....
Thank you so much for creating these, we really appreciate it!
Thank you Mil Nicholson for reading it so well! Chapter Vox for uploading and sharing. And Charles Dickens for writing Great Expectations🙂
an incredible reading and novel - very good actress. each of all those characters had its own voice, its own mind. men’s voices were men and the women were women. the aged were older. miss Haversham aged. at no point was i bored (except by the author the almost murdering of Pip just went on and on :) but it was published weekly, so it felt different than a through reading. Dickens was/is an amazing writer. this story is truly a “tangled web”, the characters each are so different. and, of course, his love and understanding of poorer people in England is so there as in few other so “famous” authors.
thank you so very, very much. Keep safe :) 🌷🐶🌼🌱
Thank you kindly for the Audible; Priceless and Timeless. ❤
Thank you for your excellent rendition of this classic. The voices bring the characters alive! God bless 🙏🏼💜
What a wonderful story and so beautifully read. As a parent of 5 I find it difficult to pick up a book as time is very limited, so I am thankful to have story read to me whilst I go about my chores! Such a lovely ending too.
Thank you 🙏🏻 for this beautiful reading
thank you for the audiobook!!! it made my reading so much easier i am ever so grateful
Your reading is TRUELY EXCELLENT
I read the entirety of the novel, answered fifty-and-hundred questions, all in the span of a mere week. Yes, have my grammar ever gotten so peculiar.
My Lit teacher really emphasized that this book was serialized, published in sections over a long period of time. I didn't expect it to be this obvious that Dickens had to meet word counts.
omfg i did not expect it to have a good ending i feel so happy now
Done with it at last , thank you so much to the narrator am sure I wouldn'tve finished reading it if it wasn't an audiobook
I kinda hated reading this book because I had to do it in a few weeks and it really felt like a chore. But I’ve just recently realized that I actually loved this book, that because I was forced to read it so quickly, I became very engaged in the story and the characters.
you ate that i doubt i wouldve been able to get through this book without these videos
Eleven years later, Pip returns to England. He says he has learned to work hard and is content with the modest living he makes in the mercantile firm. He goes to visit Joe and Biddy, and tries to convince Biddy that he has resigned himself to being a bachelor.
Pip then goes to Satis House and finds that it is no longer standing. In a silvery mist, Pip walks through the overgrown, ruined garden and thinks of Estella. He has heard that she was unhappy with Drummle but that Drummle has recently died. As the moon rises, Pip finds Estella wandering through the old garden. They discuss the past fondly; as the mists rise, they leave the garden hand in hand, Pip believes, never to part again.
I almost cried at the end
Excellent. Always been my favourite story. Really bought to life by the reader. X
Props to those who read this book to better themselves and to those who, despite having read this book for school, honestly tried to get into the story and enjoy it.
omgg this audiobook is amazing and i enjoyed it thoroughly!!
We did it bois
thank you for this. thank you narrator.
Gifted narration, thank you!
wow, thank you so much for this audio it was so helpful!
Thanks a lot for posting , what a journey , really enjoyable book , best of luck from Egypt 2021
Thank you. Appreciate your recording
CONGRATULATIONS PEOPLE WE FINALLY FINISHED THIS!!🥳🥳
It was a long, boring, and over-hyped but you did it anyways!!
im so glad, that was actually great. Biddy and Joe getting married was tough tho 😭 Pip keeps taking L's
The best part about this book is that it ends.
Finished now with yet another story that I did not read when required to in High School... nearly 20 years past now. Shame the teacher who tried her bed to encourage us to read this has passed on. I'd have liked to discuss this book with her, as the themes are far ranging. Not sure this should be given to 14/15 year old kids to read, many of the themes contained within are far and above what I then and my 15 year old daughter now could/can comprehend.
Perhaps best read in the 30's somewhere, as that's about my estimation of the narrator within the book. Nearly always in the past tense, telling the story of his life.
i cannot believe i finished it
Yay! We made it to the end!!!
We did it ladies!!!
we did it, we finished the book
shooked
It's crazy that I'm done😳😳
I dont believe it. Idk how I feel rn. This book was crazy though, haha
GOOD JOB PHE!! you did itttttt🥳
We did it!
I DID IT
yeah!!!!! we did it!!! good job everyone!! :)
Took 8 flippin weeks
Best part ever: 9:49
I read this book in high school and I'm sure I was just like the others grumbling here; however, this book will mean something different to you should you reread it, like I have, in your 30s, and your grumblings will cease.
Even if it does have new meaning, I still hate Pip.
Thankyou!
HELL YEAH ‼️
This is the best book I've ever read, I'm so engaged and touched by pip and his journey. It would have been much better is pip married estella but still 10/10 book
"End of Great Expectations by Charles Dickens" -Mel Nicholson
AND that's a wrap glad I'm done
lol same. Ap lit?
Well that was nothing like Southparks rendition of Great Expectations ... who knew
WAR IS OVER

What should I do now when it all ended?
Celebrate!!🎉
Wemmick, I literally love you. I'll fight Miss Skiffins/Mrs. Wemmick for my rightful place >:(
Wemmick x Jaggers all the way if it can't be me, bro

It is such a good ending! I would prefer the original ending tho...
what is the original ending?
can someone please explain to me why people are glazing this book so hard. i’m definitely not seeing what you are.
Oh, thank fuck. Thank fucking Christ.
gg
The worst book I have ever read. Suicidal. Wouldn’t wish this on anyone
Aghhh I hate this book
Wow, you guys complaining as if you had to read the damned book. Not like it was in my day, being required to ACTUALLY read it. As good now as it was then.
No short wonder our new generation is failing. Can’t even stand listening to an audio book. Tell me, will you all be happy when they can beam the information into your head in a half second, or will you find something to complain about with that too? Pitiful lol
lmao, okay boomer. people are complaining not because it's an audiobook but because they don't enjoy the book. people will stop complaining when the school system stops forcing kids to read terrible books written by people like dickens
Owen Davies lol
It's so sad that people like you don't wish for a better future for future generations where they have access to resources like audiobooks, the book sucked, that's why we complain.
You forgot to put a period at the end of your sentence.
Ok boomeerrr
