Thanks for helping me fix my vacuum! Fun fact: I have raised maybe a dozen injured or orphaned crows for release back into the wild. You’re hearing the babies’ desperate attempts to get their parents’ attention (and hopefully food) vs their siblings! The dead giveaway is when their frantic call becomes garbled by them greedily swallowing food and then yelling for more. I promise they always sound that desperate, no matter how well-fed they are!
Coupled with mob calls - maybe an intruding bird got too close to the nest, or an older sibling was trying to take food from the nestlings and got chased off. Families often stick together and have small territories, so you probably see the same birds often :)
Wow YOU SAVED OUR VACCUUM SIR!!! AND I REALLY CANT THANK YOU ENOUGH!!! That vac was given to us as a gift and suddenly no suction.... I did all the normal things but YOU SHOWED ME THE SECRET FILTER BOX IN THE BOTTOM!!! THENNNN CLEANING THAT TUBE!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 brand new vac, thank you!!
You are the master! Found one at my son's college dumpster looked new but did not suck. Dirty filter and clogged hose just like the one in your video. Mark
Thanks a lot! I put everything apart thinking I was going to remember where every part belonged, but I miscalculated my ensambling proficiencies. So, I find your video on UA-cam, and I did it. You did a great job! Thanks again!
This is a great vacuum. It just needs to be cleaned often especially the foam filters. Easy to do and everything can be disassembled in seconds. I’ve cleaned mine maybe 100 times so far. Not very powerful but it is very lightweight.
Thanks for the video! Followed your instructions, now my vacume cleaner sucks but in a good way! Also enjoyed that you showed the crows that were making all that noise!
Every vacuum cleaner I have ever had, I have gotten for free, just sitting next to the dumpster. I take it apart and detail clean them and there ya have it, a free vacuum. My neighbor throws them out for either a clog or a broken belt. Never broken. Lucky for me. 👍
I do the same thing. I live in an apartment complex full of University students and every June when many of them move out, I come up on at least five or six vacuums. I sell them for 20 or 25 bucks a piece on Facebook and they go within a day or two.
When lost of suction, always clean out the hose, wash the filter & let it dry out for a day. Also always clean out the brushes. Once those are clean, everything will be in proper working order.
The long black hose is notorious for getting progressively clogged with hair. This gradual air flow reduction causes crud to accumulate. Make sure to check this hose first.
thanks ... my vacuum was a 2020 xmas present from my mom (cost $200) I cleaned the Nosal but vacuum wouldn't still pick up after buying a new belt too.
Hey thanks. My debris container was empty, and filters clean, but still had no suction. But thanks to your video, I checked the lower portion of the hose, and it was completely clogged! Cleared it out, and its back in working order.
Just found a whole cat-toy mouse in the bottom tube behind the brush roll... would make sense why the hose was working fine but not the bottom of the vacuum... lol I can’t believe a whole mouse toy was pulled up there... after I pulled him out and cleaned the roll it worked perfectly.
Must have been an owl in that tree. And you saved another from the trash heap. The amount of crap in that white hose alone.....and those filters. Need a vacuum for the vacuum.
Man, throw those crows some peanuts. They like weenies too. we toss some of both in the backyard every few days. Peanuts everyday. They love em. We love to watch them. Very smart birds.
Lol sometimes having a husband doesn’t help as much as you think. I’m my marriage, I’m the handy woman. It’s amazing what you can find on UA-cam. I put everything together and I repair what needs repairing. :) I have a hubby that is a bit of a germophobe so he doesn’t like to touch a lot of things that involve dirt and he gets frustrated easily when trying to put something together so I take care of both of those.

❤Thank you kind sir for your help I have been fighting with my vacuum for months just trying to make it last. You are truly a blessing 🙏

You did a great job! Thanks again!
I had been cleaning out the cylinder and hoses, but your video helped me find the filter in the base. Thanks
Thanks for the video! Almost went out and bought a new sweeper but just saved myself a lot of money by being able to just clean mine!

I love answer-driven trouble shooters!
Our calling is to make sure a thing is dead before it's sent across the river. Well done!

This guy is the Mr. Rogers of diy
Thank you for doing this video. Mine doesn't look like that, but now I know other areas to clean.
I’ve rescued a few vacuum cleaners form our dumpster area for this same reason. Many times it’s a sock. Love those crows.
Louise MacDonald damn you looking good

😂😂😂I was about to say, those damn crows sound menacing
I washed my hepa filter and plugged but didn’t know until watching this so thank you. I rather repair than buy new.
Thank you sir!! Found a lot of hair in the “waste tube” as well (aka the handle tube). Great video! Now to put it back together...
Will never buy another dirt devil. You shouldn’t have to take a vacuum completely apart to make sure it keeps functioning properly

Thank you so much. You just helped me save my vacuum from the trash can

Thank you, so much, for the video. I just got my vacuum cleaner working with your instructions. It had slowly died. But now, it's working like new.

Lol! Great video. Shows that a little tinkering and cleaning goes a long ways. Dads rule!
O
Thank you l just saved another devil Vac
Must have been an owl in that tree. And you saved another from the trash heap. The amount of crap in that white hose alone.....and those filters. Need a vacuum for the vacuum.
Haha great vid, makes me laugh because some people treat cheaper vacs as 'til it's full' then tossed it. Thank you! Super helpful

Mom's was clogged up and she was like this thing now working it was really bad. I cleaned it out and its working like new.
Thanks this video helped me so much with my dirt devil. :)
Alfred Hitchcock's
" The Birds " 😅
I can't twist the red top on the filter canister to unlock it, it won't budge.
I have this vacuum, my dirt is not going through the filter. :( it’s like stuck in the tube/ pipe thing

It's like a Stephen King vacuum tutorial.
Daughter needs to learn how to clean a vacuum
But you never showed me how to take out the bottom filter on the dirt cup
She needs to start picking up her floor before vacuuming

Hmmm mine is missing that filter, that would explain why something got stuck in the engine:(
Merci
It’s times like these that make me wish I still had a husband

Break a plastic hanger and it makes it easier to clean the compacted debris inside the tube thourghly.
With bigger items on the floor, just sweep with a broom first!
Or pick them up
Hahaha the birds
Mystery solved.
Those crows were probably fighting over a female!
something is dead in the trees... !!! lol
Holy Crow LOL
Can you please give me that
