I think it’s a big plus that for replays you post like this, we still get the live twitch commentary. I loved the occasional future Zach commentary (tbh I think you could get away with more if you wanted), but it was super valuable to get your in game thoughts.
I love how you you stay calm and just problem solve when your down, I’m (reallllllly) low mmr and everyone I play with looses it as soon as the team starts loosing, incredible content Zach!
Probably the most annoying thing about dota. It could be 15 minutes into the game and the score is 4-10 and your team mates are crying gg while afking in the fountain.
Just a note for everyone since you mentioned it, generally don't use damage reduction or damage block effects (like Solar Crest/) on Medusa unless you are DESPERATE or she is somehow low health but fine on mana. Medusa's mana shield takes precedence before all reductions. In patch 7.33, her mana is effectively her entire HP pool, and her actual health goes basically untouched by damage until it is gone. For every 100 damage taken, Medusa takes 2 damage to her health, so even damage blocking like with Crimson Guard actually does extremely little (if she gets hit with 1000 damage, her health only takes 20 damage, which, yes, is *completely* blocked by Crimson Guard, but is covering so little of the effective damage she's taking - basically just giving her another 200 eHP or so if she gets hit for 1000 ten times. If you want to buy defensive items to help Medusa, focus on shields, attack speed reductions, possibly mana regen, dispels, and CCing her threats. These will be MUCH more effective.
How about licht shield? Doesn't it reduce incoming physical damage? I.e. first the shield reduces let's say 100 damage hit by 60% and that 40 damage gets blocked by mana shield, or not?
off topic but as a brazilian i must say, the people talking in all chat on the first minutes of your game reminded me of why i started playing Europe West lmao
The longer the game goes, the worse it will be for dire. So it is more like stalling and getting what you can. But what if your team composition is similar in terms of timings? Do you like just aim at 60 min mark and just hope to win, cuz no one know how the fuck to win after 50 mins?)
This week, I had like 2 comeback games, and those were totally unexpected. The games look already lost, as the enemies can just hg and push and kill us all, but we managed to turn around things. Never don't give up, guys. Give your best so that you'll not ragret anything.
@@bovineavenger734 i know, that statement actually came from a picture of a tattoo on a person's arm and i'm using it as a meme coz maybe someone will remember lol
Great video! Really feeling this veno sup, the ward utility is a pos5 wet dream, and this aura patch suits him so well. Huge new map and is hard to maintain the same vision as before? Here, have a bunchload of budget wards.
Had a game that last picked AM with a draft of oracle, pa, ursa and sf already. I was the ursa pos 1 and ofc the am was in my lane. Both booted out of lane by lv 4. Am fed naturally. Map collapsed on us on every lane because of no map control with 3 greedy cores. I avoided most team fights, pushed lanes when I’d see them on the map, tpd in only if I saw an opportunity and farmed enemy jungle. Even with the bad lane I managed 49-51 last hits by minute 10. Im sure I had mistakes but definitely one was not taking rosh. I’d like to know what other ways could I have overcome these kind of situations in my games. When the game goes exactly how you expect with that line up. Obviously I can’t win them all but I’d like to get better at overcoming these situations and identifying what individually I can do better. No point crying about players like the am as grief picks will always happen so why tilt before the game has begun. Learning the mindset of top tier players dealing with those situations (if they do) would be such good insight!
It's what I always say: if you're winning hard, go hard and end the game quickly. If you're losing, you cannot stay cozy in base waiting to defend under t3s
I SAW THIS LIVE, i can confirm mans was not as chill as hes presenting rightnow. we were all shook the comeback happended fr fr. also if youre reading this you better go follow da twitch
It would be very nice if you shared the id number to the match so we can repeat it and study better your teaching. Any way thanks for your generosity on sharng you knowledge. Thanks a mill buddy.
You're the best tutorial maker ever. I got so much better after watching and I am 5k. So you should know that you help even good players. I know you're a support player, but, why don't you make a collab to make an advanced mid laner guide? So that you state what 8k mid players do that 6k players doesn't. Maybe you could invite some mid player to help you on that !
Notes Looks like maybe 2nd blood grenade killed yourself You could have galed a lot of waves to relieve pressure You stand in range while everything is cool down when you know the fight is bad and die with legion a few times I rather hear more focus on your own play fwiw you're my new favorite UA-cam dota man but please be more self critical in a pub you can't blame team
I appreciate the feedback! I don't disagree and I'm usually quite critical of my own gameplay. In this game I definitely made mistakes which is why we are behind. But when I upload games where I play well, a lot of people ask to see games where mistakes are made and then you have to recover. I could have talked more about my own mistakes here, but I meant for the focus to be more about coming back rather than not making mistakes to begin with
I mean you gotta spice things up, otherwise every game would simply be the same. Feeding 5 times here and there can definitely help with spicing the game (and possibly your team mates up) so that you get a wonderful emotional roller-coaster full of drama, blame and sweating :)
Match ID: 7198471228 I played this game earlier as veno and enemies were destroying us just like in the video but somehow came back and won the game. Feel free to check the replay out. ( It's a divine unranked match btw)

My man is really killing the dota content game lately
this is the best replay format to watch...Real-time thought process during live-play augmented with replay analysis.

would love more of these videos, and to me comebacks are what makes dota really really fun and exciting!!

Buffing the plague ward talent xD
Glad to see even immortals have the good ole “REPORT X” spam in chat when their throne is getting sieged

One of the best ways to comeback is to simply never give up! I swear most people throw in the towel way to early.
So if my top is losing tp to try and help and wish the best to my carry? I’m noob and keep having this in game. I don’t know the correct play :(
It would be very nice if you shared the id number to the match so we can repeat it and study better your teaching. Any way thanks for your generosity on sharng you knowledge.

I notice that a lot of immortal players don't level a skill right away even when the choice seems obvious. Is there a reason for this?

It's literally all because you have a dusa that didn't get ult. Once she ulted everything changed.
sir, do you do live coaching?
NA is so toxic... People griefing and giving up 75% of the time before 10 minutes...
Every region got its toxicity I guess
RU is doing the same right after pick 😂
Why this item build this game? I would have thought pavise crest.

I dont see where he blames his team more than himself. He called out in the first 5mins and many times throughout how he couldve played better

How to WIN after losing lanes: Have a medusa pos 1 farming all game...
I gave up trying to rank up after 3 of my 6 games lost are people DC and left the game. If you are serious about this game you are wasting your time.
