Wow!! I can't believe your video was the first one that popped up when I typed in my ridiculously specific inquiry...that has NEVER happened for me! Anyway, I've been working on the exact same project for a couple of weeks now on my 20+ years old shower frame and doors! My husband hired a couple of handymen for a few jobs that unfortunately, we're not up to doing (we're both retired and he's disabled). I'm 65 and can do pretty much any type of repairs, but wasn't comfortable with replacing all of the drywall in our bathroom. The handymen removed my very similar shower doors and frame to recoat our fiberglass shower enclosure (I've come to the conclusion that he met those guys at either a rest stop or some burger joint because now I have to fix just about everything they "fixed") and reinstalled them not only dirty and still full of old caulk, but incorrectly. At any rate, your wonderful video answered my question and I SO appreciate you sharing it!! I only wish I could post a picture of how beautifully it's going! Suscribed!!
Ron, is there no end to your talents? You are so thorough and patient. By the way, tell Sharon that I love her new caftans. They are no longer called moo moos.
Yo...yo...yo brah my first time commenting on your cite sence Sharon-She-so ? Made a brah feel some kinda way? My wife tried her best to apologizes for what was not the entent... luv ta shower look that one thing really was nice👍🏿
I’m actually getting ready to do the same thing and your video was the first I watched and I don’t need to watch anything else…that came out really nice..I have to take old brass shower doors to something else and didn’t know if it was possible but after your video and new doors over 400 dollars 20 bucks in paint is a lot better way to go. But you’re definitely correct about the temperature thing being a little bit higher..I find at least 70 degrees and the paint won’t run or sag plus dry more throughly ….which could also mean that the finish will be more durable with the exposure to water….thxs again for your advice you saved me at least 380 dollars and a little time but definitely worth it.
Hey Ron thank you so much for showing me how are you spray paint your shower me and my husband and homeowner over 20 years in our master bedroom shower needed a makeover on a low cost. I’ll follow sharing for over a few years and I’m glad you guys relationship is going away did it is because now my husband can see how a man does it because I know how a woman does it. Thank you guys so much for showing, your bathroom makeover
Another article on Pinterest had a lady that did this and she said it lasted years and was fine.. considering it too.. but she painted it and just masked everything I will do the same since I have no idea how to remove the frame like this channel did 😂
Hey, Ron u the man, amazing, love,❤️love,❤️ur work, and the music, keep them Videos, coming, love ❤️ the Team work, u, and, Sharon, do y’all have a business, doing professional house projects.love everything, y’all do.🙏🏽❤️🥰
Brother Ron that's the first time ever seen ING a shower painted at all. Absolutely amazing. Great job. From the outside looking it you are a pro. You & sis makes an great team.🙂
Looks A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! And you make it look so much simpler than I would have expected. I would NEVER have thought to spray paint on a brush to make touch up paint, that was simply GENIUS!
Thank you so much for this video. I've watched a few of these shower door vids and you're the only one who actually removed the doors. Crazy people...how do you think the paint will stick to the silicone/caulk that's on their doors. Not to mention the fumes inside their houses. Anyway, I'm going to follow your video when I work on my shower.
Looks great. You did a great job my friend! I'm updating our bathroom now, new lighting fixtures, faucets and shower enclosure. You're about right with the cost estimate. Your shower looks almost identical to ours and the quote is $1500. If it were up to me, I'd do what you did and paint. But the wife wants all new and I'm tired of fighting!
Thxs Ron for sharing this I took minds off like this now I'm ready to put them back on you made it si play for me. To follow along including the right spray paint
Hey Ron! Thanks for sharing this video. I am about to paint the chrome shower trim in a home. How did this hold up for you? How is it looking today, a year later?
Thx for this video, especially the showing of how you did the touch up. I did not think of spraying the sponge brush. I will definitely remember that. 👍🏽
I have just come across this video. Looks fantastic. I have been wanting to re do the outdated shower in our motorhome. HATE the ugly gold. My question. It has now been a year, how is it holding up? Also, I was wanting to do black fixtures but fear the soap scum will really show and look super nasty. Comments please.Thank you.
How wonderful to have a handy man around the house.....I want one!
You can have mine! He's about as handy as a....never mind, I'll be in internet prison!!😁

Hi Ron great job on the shower door. Sharon to the rescue, that's why you two are a power couple.
My wife just asked me to paint our shower door black. Found your video. Super helpful and great job. Looks awesome!
Hi Ron, so beautiful! Has the paint worn well? I’m doing the same but just wondered how well it has been maintained since the job was done!
Nice work! I'm doing mine right now.
How did you remove the glass and all? He said it was happening, but didn't see the details. I might just tape it to now damage something
Thanks for the video Ron. How is the frame paint holding on after a year?
Wondering this too. The jobs always look amazing, but the real question is how did it hold up? Water nourishes and it also greatly destroys.
Great work! Thank you for the video!
Hi Ron! Shower looks just as new as any of the showers in a brand new house. And you did it at a very, very affordable price. Well done 👍🏾
Thanks!
Ron, is there no end to your talents? You are so thorough and patient. By the way, tell Sharon that I love her new caftans. They are no longer called moo moos.

Wow! What a great compliment! BTW, it’s still looks like it did after I painted it. Hardly any wear. The primer was the key.

It’s holding up great! Looks like it did when I first painted it. Don’t think the black hardware will be an issue at all.
