Dating apps are very dangerous.
is there data on that? or is this just a persistent myth? how do apps compare to irl interactions and threats?
I was on e harmony a few years ago. After watching the Ashley Madison documentary, Im sure, they were manipulating the algorithm.
Being on dating apps, especially for women, are hard these days because there is now access to unlimited options. People are addicted to swiping to see if the next best thing is right around the corner. No one takes the time to develop interest. It's just "on to the next".
"Swipe culture" has definitely made that mentality more common.
Especially for women? 😂😂😂
What a pathetic attempt at a cope you said there.
I would not tell any 25 yr old they have plenty time anymore Id tell them to def put every goal in life in motion including love goals.i know way to many single 35 plus yr olds single and struggling to date
Yes! It's serious out here and emotionally healthy men who want to be husbands and fathers marry in their 20s. That number gets lower and lower every year.
they have time, esp if they havent figured out who they are yet.
If you're young and want to be in a relationship that leads to marriage, family, etc., it's important to prioritize that as much as your career. I've worked with men and women where when they did that, they were able to do both pretty seamlessly. Those who felt like they needed to prioritize their career first are the ones to typically have a harder time finding love later in life.
I agree.
I refuse to subscribe just to date someone, single folks are not the dating company commodity.
The algorithm isn’t against you. It’s using logic to match emotional people. The logic isn’t the problem it’s the emotional people using it. They lack self awareness when using the app.
No, it is against people. It's a business, and they figured out during the pandemic how to get the most paid subscriptions.
look at my niece
Only speed dating I saw was will smith in ( hitch) the matchmaker
