    The meaning of the song:
How can I grieve and complain to you that you have not given me many things my Lord......
When you have filled my empty bowl with so much more.....
Oh my Beloved.....you have difussed my confusion....(God) please let my boat of life sail with calm on this ocean of Life.
All my friends, relatives, clansmen, you cause their meeting with me.....
to vanish and disappear in a jiffy with one batting of eyelid....
But foolish...me in my intellectual arrogance, keep them tied to my bosom.... Lord...I am just a poor soul in this material world..do not know Your ways....

Odiya language is one of the oldest classical language of lndia .lts written form is found in stone carvings of Samrat Kharvel and Ashok in different places of Odisha. This song was written by famous odiya poet Baikunthnath Pattnaik and first sung by his daughter Sunanda Pattnaik, a famous classical singer.

Sniti beats that concept by showing her talent so versatile that I cannot take the credit away from this young beautiful super artist who has years ahead to mesmerize the world of those who may even have little music interest. Only you could be a PHD and melodious at the same time...amazing. My son Dr. Salman Ahmad of “Junoon” band and I are your fans among other millions

I am Turkish citızen born in the USA. I am of Kazakh origin . At the moment I live in Turkey. I am really exhilirated by this devotional song sung by Sniti Mishra. So much so that I have started watching odishi classical dances. I think Odishi is the sweetest language till now I have ever listened. The Sarangi played by the master in this song is süperb. I now desire to learn to play this Sarangi…How can I learn.. would someone guide me. I think Odishi language is older than even Sanskrit…what is the origin of Odishi language?

A literary translation of this poem is given here----
O my Lord, you have filled up my life bowl in various ways, how can l complain that you have not given me anything!
My dearest, you have destroyed my illusion, let my lifeboat sail smoothly in your ocean.
While sailing across the shore you arranged many people to meet me and also disappeared them in a twinkle, but with worldly ego l developed attachment with them not knowing that this would bring misery in life
As a Sean with fricle mind l would fly in the sky away from the right path crossing many mountains and fall into the endless ocean. and finish my life before the time comes.
As a prisoner l would have sung your glories by help of your blessed voice, but neglecting that devine happiness l engaged myself in false mundane activities.
Alas, the sweetest night to meet you is passing fast away.

Oriya, derived from Sanskrit, is one of the oldest languages of the world. It is one of the six classical languages of India. It is a soft yet extremely complex language capable of myriad expressions. The Oriya alphabet has 49 letters. For example, depending on the context, the word 'water' can have a dozen synonyms!

Marata Prabasi mu najani ane dou
I am inhabitant of mortal world and being ignorant I think powerful ( Ego)
Jibana Patra Mo Bharichha Kete Mate na dela kichi boli kahibi ki hee aou..
You filled so much in the pot of my life how can I complain you that did not give more to me.
ManasaHansa Mu Manase jibi Udi ..
I am ManasaHansa ( as swan from Mansoravar, in spretual meaning immortal wisdom or Pure Soul ) One day I will fly to Manasa ( Mansarova or mearge to almighty )
      Bharame abhirata mu doshen pathahudi
I moan ever being ignorant and lost the path..

    Vivacious Sniti's vibrant
voice, perscpicuous poise & immaculate grace while singing this timeless beauty of a lyric, composed by Poet
Baikunthanath Patnaik, is the closest to, if not better than, the Original, which I had the privilege
    of hearing more than 60
years ago while I was a medical student of Odisha, at Cuttack.
May she as well as the
    superb Sarangi Player,
Moim Khan continue to receive His Blessings in abundance.
