- The Nanda Devi National Park or Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve, established in 1982 is a national park situated around the peak of Nanda Devi (7816 m) in Chamoli Garhwal district of Uttarakhand, in northern India. The entire park lies at an elevation of more than 3,500 m (11,500 ft) above mean sea level.
The National Park was inscribed a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1988.
It was later expanded and renamed as Nanda Devi and Valley of Flowers National Parks in 2005.
Within the National Park lies the Nanda Devi Sanctuary, a glacial basin surrounded by a ring of peaks between 6,000 metres (19,700 ft) and 7,500 m (24,600 ft) high, and drained by the Rishi Ganga through the Rishi Ganga Gorge, a steep almost impassable defile.
The best time to visit Nanda Devi National Park is from May to October.

How much it costed you . I am planning to visit Uttarakhand in June this year and I have 15000 budget .
Yes it's enough
Great work Brother..Felt bad that we didn't able to see The Mighty Nanda Devi Peak from that close range..Well I have seen Nanda Devi from Rudranath as well as Frim Panar Bugyal but i myself failed to have a glimpse of Nanda Devi peak from your source..But overall great to N.P...Being from chamoli only i just want to tell you that Leopard are the most shy animal there you can find untill and unless they are not man eater..Although in NP there are abundance of food for them, so they will not harm you in anyway..❤Love from Garhwal Uttarakhand ।
Thanks Bro. My Trek in Nanda Devi NP was one of the most adventurous of all. Offered some great outlook on local pahadi culture and rituals as well.

Welcome!
Awesome what season did you go? I went in 2021 Early October. It was amazing, according to the plan we want to camp at Dharansi but lack of water there completely ruled out the option. But views of NandaDevi and other peaks were amazing we had clear blue skies. Want to go back again in September sometime as the guide was saying in last week of September u still have some small ponds of water on Dharansi side left over from monsoon rains.
Thanks. I went in June. Yes camping in Dharansi is difficult due to water issues. The views from Dharansi are so magical
❤
