🎉HAPPY 2025 FRIEND. Great tips and advice. I'm still a family and friends event planner so I have the liberty to say "get out my way and sat down somewhere" 😂😂😂 I have decided that I like it this way so I'll just be a great nurse and a pseudo planner on the side. I will continue to live vicariously through your amazing creations ❤
Happy New Years, thank God for allowing us to see another year bc it's so many that didn't. I agree give the event planner time to do they're job so they can be able to do what you're asking for. Yes I know exactly what you're talking about my⌚ and what I'm here to do.Thanks for sharing
This!!!🙌🏾 You've nailed EVERY single feeling. It's unfortunate we go through this but I'm glad to know I'm not alone when I have these feelings so thank you for this. Please keep up the great work! Happy 2025 🎉
Great Morning to you and your family...... Happy New Year ❤This was a very valid point to talk about because I'm giving me and my husband a Big birthday bash together next year on his birthday and the venue that I booked, don't get me wrong is beautiful and prayed over but the Time frame to me not enough time to set up not that it needs a whole lot to decorate the place speaks for itself! I wanted to decorate the night before and can't but going to ask again, the young lady that I hired to do the backdrops and balloons I think she needs more time (7-11pm) but everything have to be down by 11 in order to get back $100.00 deposit Chileeee are you for real right now but the son said I can set up at 2pm the day of the event I think we could pull it off.
Happy New 🎉Eoe family my life lessons I learned for doing my events is tell the can the client that I need two hours and a half because one hour is not gonna get it in Philly. Also I come in after to clean up. I let them know. I’m going to be there a half an hour before the event is over, start taking down my charger plates flower arrangements because people like to walk out with your stuff so that’s why my lessons ,I learned this year so thank you for sharing the lesson learned video. I’ll be watching out for more videos . Hope you God bless you in 2025 .Bernie‘s Decor
This is good stuff and I’ve never had any NC folks walk away with my items and at best they ask and I say yes or no. Thank you so much and I pray nothing but peace and blessings over you and yours as well for 2025.
Wonderful advice. I've, even, had to ask clients to refrain from smoking in the event space because it's inconsiderate, and I'm chronically asthmatic. I only do balloons, so I've had to apply a no young children, while I work my magic because kids tend to want to play with the balloons, and I end up being a babysitter, and shoo-er, among other things, and that cuts into my setup time. Keep posting these guidelines, they're quite helpful. Have an absolutely amazing 2025❤🧡💛
Kids are infatuated with balloons, even mine, as much as they see me blow them up. I’m shocked that people are smoking though. I’ve never had to deal with that.
Happy New Year to you and your family!! May God continue to bless, guide, protect, grant you favour and prosperity in your business and provide your needs in 2025 and beyond❤🙏🏽🙌🏽. Your top three lessons, hit the nail on the head. Many venue operators are only about the money and don't consider or allow enough time for set up and break down. I also agree with you on the coordinating versus the decorating roles. Many clients take it for granted that you will coordinate, as you are already there. This takes away from your limited time for setting up. I have also had to ask guest to wait outside while working. Some weren't please, however they were compliant.
Great tips. But the contract is a must. You can get burned big time without one and make sure you have business insurance to cover any unforseen issues such as injuries to guests.
Good tips! I do find myself trying to figure out where people go. I will let clients know that someone needs to be there and I can charge a fee for these services.

Sometimes I’m too nice and a lot of what I’ve encountered has caused me to set boundaries. You live and you learn. Thank you so much for your prayers.
Thank you, people need to be educated on this very thing. Planner vs Designer. Grey tips.

Great Lesson Learns I hate extra people in my way and yes I am not a planner...
Good tips! I do find myself trying to figure out where people go. I will let clients know that someone needs to be there and I can charge a fee for these services.
Yes. We should be up charging if we are coordinating as well. That takes time away from us.
Hi EOE, Who is that gentleman in the pic behind you?
Hey 👋🏽 that’s my dad who passed in 2014. That’s a picture of him when he was in his 20s.
There is nothing worse than an audience when you are trying to set up.
