Round 1, we pay attention to payouts. If you make us pay more, we will play less. The economy is hurting, we want to go somewhere that will reward us for spending money.
Even with the claw machine bigger payout, it’s still always so much fun watching your videos 😊 since you can end on a high note from the wins of Over the Edge ✨💖✨
I have to hand it to you Steve and Erica that’s some serious dedication and a what have we learned moment. For a person that loves getting those types of prizes it’s definitely a must have prize. Whether it’s actually worth 23 plays is a different story entirely. It’s also taught me that playing those claws is definitely not something I’ll be spending my money on any time soon. Thank you though for using your platform in calling out the arcade industry.
Dang 23 times is rough! Maybe only funzones are set to 15 since they’re smaller prizes? But the high payouts are definitely a big problem and it’s really taking the fun out of claws 😢
Love the branded Round 1 Cat plush! Super cute! That 23 tries is definitely brutal! Crazy how high a lot of that is! I'm hoping to find some of those branded prizes at my local Round 1! Hopefully they'll have it set better! 😂 great vid and pointers! 🙌
We had to have it! But yes, it was brutal and frustrating! We are starting to lose confidence in Round 1 to some degree. Hope you find one though!! Thanks!!
I am having the same trouble getting a regular Kirby.. Well over 15 tries and still can get one... Love the Round 1 kitty plush. I hope they have them out the Round 1 near me...
23 times is ridiculous. Im so sorry they are doing that to everyone. 50 dollars is way to much for that plush. Anyway great video. It lets everyone know what they are in for if they want to play. Best wishes for you and your family.
My cat growing up loved the emperors new groove. When id get home from school hed slap the tv and look at me expectanly. He wouldnt stop till you turned his movie. The he would sit at the end of my bed and watch it. He was so cute.
They definitely set the payout rates for the branded stuff much higher than normal! I tried for the Ramen kitty so many times and never got it! And now it's gone! 😢 hopefully I'll see this one soon!
The golden rule of claw machines …..Is the prize with the tries! Feel free to use that. 23 tries is too many. But if you think it’s Swagalicous go for it.
Your guys' Round Ones get the prizes a little before mine so it's like a fun sneak peek to watch you guys play for them!! I just visitied mine and got my Pompompurin Plushie :D
Theres just something special about the Round1 merch claw prizes. Only got the Basketball, but got super lucky winning that one. About to leave at like 1am and used my last credit and insta grabbed in one! :) the ultimate swag would be to convince a worker to get that damn "coin" plush they use as a prize to grab! obviously everyone has asked them but they will never give it up. maybe if you knew a worker or was a worker lol
I also feel like they've done something to the ping pong dropper set up. Recently whenever I played it the balls would drop out almost half the time and bounce out of the takoyaki thing and onto the platform or fall into the prize drop beneath. This has NEVER happened to me ever and my sister suggested it could be the claw is stronger so its somehow making the balls bounce harder as well.
I got REALLY lucky and was able to get the Round1 cat in 2 plays. NOT typical, but it always finds a way to balance out with how much I play/spend there!
I was thinking about the two Round 1's I have been to in WA state. Puyallup and Tukwila. The Tukwila one tends to have more skill games but they had a big purple cat in a claw machine that I really wanted. Other people were playing. I put 50 on one machine (this was in 2021) and did not get it. I moved to another machine and did not get it. Then I went to Puyallup when it opened and they had the purple cat in a skill machine which I won. The reason I say this is because Tukwila is special in WA state, like Seattle the city has put in a higher minimum wage then the state minimum wage so maybe the payout is 15 in some areas but not others due to minimum wage requirements.
Is it guaranteed that payout was reset in the morning? Or did someone play last night and it carried out over to the next morning making payout even higher?
Steve, since you're a stranger things fan, I was just going to tell you that my son is good friends with Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin). His family is friends with my son's father's family. They live up in New Jersey and he goes to visit them periodically. My son will not exploit their friendship, but I will 😂😂 jk I do think it's cool so I will mention it sometimes.
Somehow I missed this comment! Sorry for the late reply! I remember you saying that a long time ago! lol Thats so cool. Bring it on! LOL We will have to start a new series; "Arcade Rising Celebrity Claws!" lol
Aren't there state laws that govern how much of a profit vendors can make off payout games? We know that bear only cost round 1 very littler as they buy them in bulk. 23 plays. yikes!
so little fun thing about the yellow ball instead of putting the prize in the claw machine instead. Originally they brought the ball in to use in place of prizes that are too big to fit in the prize chute, but now the ball doesn't allow for a pinch or a sneaky grab. for instance, if the little guy was in there you could be good or lucky enough to hook a claw under its arm and between the pin, which pulls the prize up before payout. the ball is perfectly round without edges or funky material that can make the prize easier to grab. More round 1s are doing this because it almost guarantees payout chances instead of winning by a claw pinching a spot on an unevenly shaped prize.
It's also easier for them in the sense that they don't have to keep resetting the machines settings for different weighted prizes. Easier to just keep the "cheese" and change the payout setting only.
@@AnimeMintTea They would have to adjust the claw strength if they changed out different plush often, as opposed to just having the same weighted item (the cheese) where they can 'set it and forget it".
There's no such thing as a 15 plays payout. I watched someone played over 15 times abd they didn't win and it was a yoshi plush. I ended up playing it and it took up to 25 plays to win. So yea i think licensed plushies will take more than 23. The sweet mark is definitely 25 to 30 from what i tested.

I like the cat with the macaroon on it's head.
Yeah! We won one a few months back. Macarons and cats! Cant beat that!

Wow, 23 dang plays, that's crazy. Y'all did a great job with over the edge. Looking forward to another video

Definitely one for the shelf! It was a must have.
You guys never disappoint!
Omg!!! Over the edge! I would have spent all my money on that game! ❤ Last one I played they had ninjas sat on a toilet! 😂😂😂

The girl from Stranger Things you got is Robin, but she is played by Mya Hawke 😊
Lol ya, I realized my grave error when I was editing. Thanks!!

Nice! We knew it would get expensive because we wanted it so bad LOL
@@ArcadeRising1 I was TOTALLY expecting to pay out the wazoo for it too haha, I needed it!!
Wow! Love these
i saw the staff open the door under the machine and i saw an number 22. i assume it is the payout
They played 23 times to win. Payout is set differently in each machine. Personally I had one paid out at 25 and another at 30.
I think they set the Round1 branded stuff extra high because they know we want it! It took me forever to win the ramen bowl cat and dog.
The 1 one in my state has bad claw machines too.
That sucks. Ours used to be awesome and very winnable but int eh last year it has gotten tough. Thank you!
I would guess that payout was set to 25 and someone else had put in two plays already?

Ayow main capit action figure again
I felt like this was happening on the giant claw giant yoshi I was playing the other week. Nobody won the entire time we were there haha

I wonder if there are different payout depending on the prize. Like sanrio or Kirby is higher payout.
I'm positive there is! I got to round one at least twice a month and certain prizes are always harder to get! 😡
Aren't there state laws that govern how much of a profit vendors can make off payout games? We know that bear only cost round 1 very littler as they buy them in bulk. 23 plays. yikes!
Some states do regulate prize games including claw machines. Not sure if PA or OH does or doesnt. Might have to check into it. Good call! Thanks!

I mentioned this in another video but I played 17 times once to get a prize for my daughter 😢

I’m surprise Round 1 has not sponsored you guys yet
23 plays for payout, that hurt their business.
The Gemini claws are weak and garbage
