Its not really worth my time to answer this since i get asked this constantly, and people are still going to ask it regardless of how many times i answer it. Step 1. slow down the track to where i like it. Step 2. Duplicate the track and eq the highs out of 1 and the lows out of the other. Step 3. Put different effects on the highs and lows (eq sounds i like, add reverb, things like that.) Step 4. Find the exact bpm i slowed the song down to which usually takes a couple hours by itself because it ends up being something dumb like 127.635 bpm and if that number is off at all the next part gets messed up. Step 5. Redo every single drum beat in the song, kick, highhat, snare, all of that, then add some of my own drum fills. Step 6. put effects on all the drums and sidechain the kickdrum. Step 7. master everything all together.
