- Today is a terrible day for the #uyghur people, and the US is to blame. After decades long struggles with terrorism, violence, and poverty, China’s #xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region finally started to see prosperity and quality of life improve in the past few years. But the US government does not want that, and is determined to bring poverty, violence and destabilisation back to the region. Today they enacted their most recent weapon: a new piece of legislation designed to hurt the Uyghur people. #shorts
The US conveniently ignores the fact that not all Xinjiangers are Uyghurs. If i'm not mistaken, Uyghurs comprise ~40% of Xinjiang's population. The rest are Hans and other minority ethnic groups. So, this piece of US legislation not only hurts the Uyghurs, it also discriminates other ethnic groups.
since when the usa cares about truth or human rights? Power, money are the only thing it cares.
Minions cannot count. 1.8 million is a lot of people. 1.8 million is the size of a major city like Phoenix, Hamburg, and Vienna. How can you hide prison camps the size of a city in Xinjiang? Bear in mind only ~9% of Xinjiang is habitable.
Besides China wants to make Xinjiang a brand new international tourist travel destinations, if Xinjiang has those horrible things such as human right abuse or concentrate camp etc, it is not a good idea to show the world isn't it?
its not only in xinjiang, he made a fault. ur right. but, as a uyghur, theres many camps in east turkistan (xinjiang) . theres even satteliet pictures taken of it. i dont have any contact with my family for years. we dont even know if my family is dead or not.

And when liars like you pretend china is a 'peace-loving' country when you can see how violently they oppose any sort of opposition. Uigher genocide is exactly what is is, anyone can research this easily. Tiananmen square is when they killed students and oppressed them violently, they later outlawed having memorials or vigils for this, not outlawing the idea of killing their citizens, just outlawed remembering it.
NOW we can even look at the hong kong white shirts incident where thousands of chinese thugs were hired to beat up random people, they attacked anyone at random. We know this is government sponsored because they even did the exact same thing during the bank protests recently. China even shot missiles and swam boats around taiwan to threaten them just like Russia does to Ukraine just because a single politician visited them. 1) Murica is forcing the companies in China that export to Murica to fire ALL its employees of Uyghur descent!
2) Effectively, Murica has chosen to bar Uyghur Chinese to participate in any companies in China that exports to Murica.
3) Hence, this piece of Murican legislation has discriminated a group of Chinese based on their race, ethnicity and religion: also known as a N@ZI legislation. Textbook example of discrimination, NOT in a positive way.
