Thank you for this video. This is exactly what I was looking for to make for my daughters baby shower. Quick question, if the shower is on 4/23/22 how far in advance can these be made. Also should I use hi- float in the balloons. The earlier ahead of time I can make them the less stress leading up to the shower! Thanks again BR

Love this centrepiece. Please can you give me an idea of the size of the balloons for the various layers in inches as Im using an electric pump and I have a balloon sizer. My hand pump doesnt seem to make them the same size as yours with the same amount of pumps.

You could easily make them a couple days ahead of time and they would still look great for the party.

I picked up this 18" bear at walmart for $5. That was the amount I had budgeted for the bear and still be able to sell this centerpiece at reasonable price.
So is the bear you used 10 15 or 18 inches ? Getting mixed numbers here and want the right size bear for this item please

Oh there are so many options you could go with! Traditionally yellow and greens have been used for gender neutral showers. White would be really pretty with this design, or you could go with trendy neutrals like blush, taupe or gray. If you know the theme of the shower you could pull color inspiration from that too.

I add the supply cost to the cost of my time to ball park pieces like this. I charge between $25-35 for this. That amount can vary widely based on your local market, so take it with a grain of salt. Good luck!

Where can I find the bears? What size are the bears?
The bear I used is a $5 bear I picked up at Walmart and he is about 18" tall.
Where did you get your teddy bear from?
I got it at Walmart from the $5 stuffed toy bin.
Also the rubber bands? Where do you get those because my small ones would break!
I have used the mini hair ties and the tiny rubber bands that kids make bracelets out of with good results.
My balloons will not stay down in place, how do I get them to stay in place even once I attach to the stick??
A couple things you could try. Sometimes when twisting balloons around eachother they just don't lay how you want. You can try twisting the pairs of the base balloons around eachother in different ways. Another option is to set the bear on top and see if the weight of the toy holds them down. If they still wont stay, you can use some glue dashes and stick the balloons to the cardboard and other balloons to hold them where you want them. Hope that helps!
