3 METHODS TO BOIL WATER WITH THE POWER OF SUN
Вставка
- Опубліковано 14 жов 2024
- With an old satellite dish and mirror foil you can very easily make fire. Here are three ways how you can boil water with the power of the sun. There are countries on the world where wood is used to make fire. Forests are very important in the fight against the genesis of deserts.
The methods shown here can help to protect the forests. Green energy.
To gather wood, the time is not necessary.

FREE SOLAR POWER how to PARABOLIC MIRROR - REFLECTOR ua-cam.com/video/40ukXDLHFj4/v-deo.html
Thank you for this. Information on timing and quantity of water is good to have. I'll be on the lookout for an old satellite dish and already have a load of clean tins waiting painting. Biggest problem is sunshine and Scotland do not blend very often.
Two questions:
1) How long does a stationary dish work during the day since the rotation of the Earth means the Sun is constantly moving through the sky and therefore light reflects off of it at different angles?
2) If I had three or four of these mirrors focused on different sides of the black tin can, how much higher do you think the temperature would go?
the focus remains about 20 minutes put on one. readjust after 20 minutes.
For 4 cups the time to cook fast ller may be. but it is very costly. better a large bowl about 1,5m. so can melt steel. but be careful of eyes and hands.
Thinking of how coal fired and nuclear power plants could be converted to solar fired power plants. I mean all coal and nukes do is boil water. Parabolic mirrors, magnifying glass.....
The fossil fuel industry would rather murder us all than allow that
yes everything is possible but we need sunlight.
There are countries where that is not a problem. But that's not always the case
That’s what I was looking for I came to this video for same thoughts 😂
I chose method 3 as well, because it actually boiled water.
it's also about time and effectiveness
very nice
Why can't third method be used to desaline the water .....I guess it will be very cost effective since only material required is lens and black can. It might solve the water problem of world.
I was thinking of using Flat Black paint on milk jugs or 5 gallon water bottles and sit them (full of water) in the dierect sunlight to heat water. Your thoughts please?
Also the plastic would likely melt
i think you`re the most beautiful person I don`t know
yes that wouldn't boil but it would get very warm.
Would this work if you did the black tin method with just an umbrella covered in aluminum foil instead of the fancy mirror thing?
Great idea!
not so good but surely you would be able to observe the effect.
great reaktion too
I'm just wondering, - what is it painted with? And why would you put that in your water⁉️
I think you have concerns, parts of the paint can be in the water. And that's certainly not healthy. But I didn't say you can boil water and drink it. But only heating for other purposes.
Nice. I'm going to put one together with a wok and tin foil.
how do you power a steam engine with the dish?
it is best to set the focal point in the place where the steam engine has fire
Heey there. I'm very interested in this kind of technique, I'm thinkiing to create a diy project, a mini steam generator to run a turbine for generating a small amount of electricity. The usual heat here is quite good 30-35C.
I know that colloring black will make heat to be more effectively absorbed by the can. But what paint should I used to coat/color it? And where could I get this kind of mirror? or if I should make one, what material should I use?
Any help will be great, thanks :)

There is a special solar lacquer. But I find a black not glossy color which is heat resistant is also goes.
Thank you very much :D
What if you combine this with the stirling engine?
yes I did that. and burned the Stirling engine with it. but it was my fault
Good demo
How much time is required to evaporate 1litre
10 minutes to boil 1 liter. Evaporate? not tested, but you can test this at home on open.
@@diyforge sorry ,to evaporate
How I can test ?
Are there difficulties scaling this up to produce much more energy? can this be done on a industrial scale to power cities?
niansenx it can and has been scaled up to power cities look up Helios Towers
algore should be in jail.
Could this steam be used to rotate a dynamo?
That's a good idea. On a small scale it should work.
hey......! i u sure that u used a mirror in the video because i think it is other than mirror or aluminum foil.....
if not put any metal inside not boils ?? or warm ??
@Christopher Rod what did you end up doing to heat the water?
This is great for science and all that jazz but I'm just a homeless guy tryna eat my cup o nudes
Probably safe to drink black paint.
Yes, you shouldn't drink the water. But it's a good way to heat it up.
watching in case theres an apocalypse and i need to burn a fortress down.
Woke one
but it does not have a large range. It's not a laser :D
try a black soda can full of water in a clear glass jar
Ok
@@diyforge cool i'm excited to see the outcome, i've been trying all sorts and my best results so far have been the black soda can in a glass jar on the window sill 53.7°c with normal sun no lens
Free method of converting waste water into pure drinkable water without any problem
What's the diameter of the dish ?
80 cm
He used dish antenna used for TV
Sustainable energy is so easy... Millennials will get it done!
Meanwhile to get it done, we have to go back to the stone age with our living standard.
good
Why paint everything black?
+chad michalski
no reflections
The color black and darker colors on the spectra generally absorb heat whereas silver and white reflects it. That's the reason few people paint their cars with dark shades down here in Texas, most people choose red or silver because it doesn't conduct heat as well.
This question is a bit beyond my pay grade so I'll have to defer you to an expert in this field. His name is Mick Jagger.
To those who disbelieved.
Why couldn't this be a method of turning a turbine for green energy?
So far, most of the ways we get power is to boil water to make steam to turn a turbine. I could imagine one giant lense in the desert on one giant black tank of water. Seems like a no brainer. There must be something horribly wrong with the idea.
In principle, you said everything correctly, but desert and water are not easy to find together. But the more you could try and produce drinking water at the same time.
Seems a great idea considering there is virtually 0 humidity there
Have you ever just thought. . .what if one day I become homeless? That's why I'm watching this (And other videos). Who knows where life will throw you and say "Deal with it. . .bitch"
I hope you don't become homeless but I'm glad I helped you.
@@diyforge Thank youuuuu(◕ᴗ◕✿)
Just make a fire?
This is not always possible and sensible. If you have a lot of wood, no problem, but there are countries where deserts are spreading because people are burning everything that grows there.
Why aren't cities powered like this instead of using focel fuel. Like coal.
It’s not as cheap or effective
The sun doesn't always shine. And countries have no interest in technologies that they cannot earn money from
not yet
What in the Ancient Egyptian is this..
hmm in egyptian? boiling water²
that first method is toxic as hell!
Yes, you shouldn't drink the water. But it's a good way to heat it up.
