I love the idea of putting play and rest on my calendar before work.
It really has been a game changer for me. I still have to really try to stick to it, but it reminds me to pay attention to the importance of play first.
I struggle with this. As a Christian I want to do my best and represent God well in the workplace. Burnout is real though and then, no amount of flogging can produce more work. I also think a person's career can become an idol so keeping work in its place is important.
