As a 20 something year old, I can say natives are 100% back and no longer "retro"! They are highly sought after for how easy they are to grow here. And of course, shopping local is also very popular.
Would be great if you put the list of plant species discussed here in the description. Would also be great if future episodes put the species being talked about on screen when it was being discussed.
Those banksias are beautiful. The flowers has a semblance to South Africa’s pincushion except the shape. This garden is beautiful. Pinned for when I visit Oz one day
It's great. Only problem those plants probably are not going as well in your garden, - for instance, I have the same varieties of banksias ( tall and short), but they just do not flower :( , in full sun, in QLD,. You never know, how much disappointment you can get. But grevilleas are the winners in my garden.
Help- I bought ACACIA LONGFOLIA 15 gallon in Nov 11 2020, watered it good when planted in sunny area, watered it about 2 weeks ago not as much as first time as I noticed that its drying. I read that it doesnt need a lots of water so I only watered 2 x in 7 weeks. Today is Dec 26 and I noticed that the plant is drying, leafs falling off, branches dry. I dug about 4 inches below the surface and the earth is wet, not super moist. I paid lots of money for it so please help me. I live in Southern California
