Okay, the guy who is touted as the coach's #1 from day one quits with no reason given, and most of the media has nothing to say. And today we get attitude from "reporters" talking about giving eye rolls at having to do their jobs and bitching about social media. While they're on social media. It's somewhere between ironic and hypocritical to hear this from people who didn't have much to do since the spring game.
Tell you what guys; instead of complaining about the media platform you're using to express your opinions, why don't you get off your asses and do your job. I don't tune in for this crap. And most other people don't either.

Not sure what Cooper's "personal reasons" were but Butler, I think, will bring more coaching "depth", legitimize to the players a clear development path to the NFL, and strengthen recruiting. Butler, according to his former players is he fits the Ruhl culture and communication style. This was obviously a move that was underway weeks ago - maybe Ruhl saw an opportunity to upgrade the coaching staff and put a guy in place to become the DC once Tony moves to an HC job.

Just like a player entering the portal, next man up!
He seemed like he was excellent at his job, but the program will survive.

We are the LAST fan base in the universe who should complain about media coverage. God forbid we don't know everything. Imagine what would've happened if it got leaked early or reporters theorized without proof. It would've panicked everyone, including recruits and players, and made the program look chaotic. The secrecy made Rhule look like a prepared professional who got a great hire.
Rhule is the most open coach we've ever had. If the media doesn't know every detail, even after the fact, there must be a damn good reason. It's not due to a lack of effort. We are so spoiled here that it breeds entitlement. Get over it or go be a fan of a program that's lucky to have two reporters and a weekly column.
