You could have also mentioned that in Norse Mythology Loki has two brothers. One of them is Helblindi, who's name means 'hell blind', I think and the other is Býleistr who's name doesn't have a clear translation. In all fairness, they don't do anything in the mythology which is a shame.
What's crazy is that Kratos running from the flood and going to Midgard was learned before it even came out. Not to mention, every other npc explains that he was not from Norse pantheon.
I'd try to refrain from using the word Mythology when talking about living religions, it's technically correct since the original definition of Myth doesn't imply it being false, but the modern one does.

The point was that they took a figure in Greek (and Norse) Methology that there wasn’t a lot on so they could play around and do their own stuff, pretty smart.

Faye, Kratos' wife is supposed to be Laufey in the GOW games, and Atreus was SUPPOSED to be named Loki, but Kratos was very adamant on Atreus. I think it's neat how they kept some character relations the same in the games compared to the original mythology, even if it isn't historically correct at all.

Kratos specially in the Greek saga of games takes the actions of a bunch of characters, Heracles (Hercules if you're slow) Typhon, Perseus and many more. He does the same in the norse saga up until now, so it's consistent.
I have a Kraos-related question to ask you that’s worth responding to: If Farbauti is the father of Loki, wouldn’t he also be the father of Odin? (Since Odin and Loki are blood-brothers?)
Odin's father is Borr. Odin and Loki are not related, they're "blood brothers" because they mixed their blood together as part of a ritual. We don't know why they did this, but it can be assumed it's a big reason the Aesir put up with Loki for so long.
