Salt Lake City (SLC 2023) is the capital of Utah in the United States of America (USA). Salt Lake City has a population of 200,000 and the metropolitan are has approximately 1,3 million inhabitants. Salt Lake City was founded in 1847 by Mormon pioneers and by members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints led by Brigham Young.
Salt Lake City has since the 1890s also a distinguished Greek Orthodox Community of Cretan descant. They are known as 'the Greeks of Utah'. Every year the Utah Greeks organize the Salt Lake City Greek Festival.
The center of Salt Lake City is based of a standard street grid system around the Great Mormon Salt Lake Temple. Currently Salt Lake City has a strong tourist industry with wintersport and ski resort facilities in the surrounding mountains.

Nice shots but it's in serious need of an update. Much of the construction boom of the past couple of years is completely missing. I hope there will be an updated follow-up soon.
