South Africa 🇿🇦 is really upgrading when it comes to Netflix shows and movies. I'm so proud of my country so far, keep up the good work and please make a second season for this show ❤🖤
Definitely, teen dramas like elite, 13 reasons why( although I hate it) are all the rage in the us and other western, European countries.. then there's us with this.. looks interesting but like.. BLOOD AND WATER anyone!!
I am not sure if I liked the Female Lead.. I liked her friends more... but the FASHION 😍😍😍😍...Does ANYONE know where I can find that gold dress with the zulu border print that the mom in the wheelchair was wearing or the name of the hair style of the lady in the Red Suit? because MY GOD 😍😍😍😍😘😘😘😘.. the fashion was too gorgeous for thine eyes..
@@lisajones6496 she's beautiful without question but she has what people call " resting bitch face".. she looks mean.. like she seems like a DIVA in real life.. BUT I liked her bestie.. she was cute and fun and crazy.. However, my main question was about that dress.. sooo...
Incredible to watch the series and have our people represented so well; the hair the makeup the fashion, interior design. Plus, all the women cast for his show are just stunning, naturally.
Wow this is excellent. Such talent such beauty . The beauty from which all women copy. I absolutely love this. Finally a superb African series.. thank you for featuring all shades of our beautiful women . I love this
Netflix We Want More African Series And Movies On Your Platform!! We Got So Much Histories, rhythm, flow And Love To Show To The World, Because Africa Our Time Is Now!!!!
Netflix need to add Movies and series with great storylines, great quality series like JIVA.Most of these movies seems to come from South Africa, I 'ved seen a lot of movies out of Nigeria that is just plain boot-leg, I hope other African countries start producing more quality movies and series.I'm always excited to watch them on netflix, only a handful of them i really enjoyed, however most of them just produced mediocre, bad acting, bad storylines. This in no way trying to bring down nollywood or others, just constructive criticism.
The francophone part of Africa have long been ahead of the anglo-phone part of Africa..their movies are authentic and not like nigerian.. yest east,North and South Africa have great stories, I think what makes them refreshing is that it is what it is... they don't water down their cultures.. have you seen the series how to ruin Christmas, and blood and water..South african entertainment is really good
@@shielamajoriemusongeMDthe Francophone really Excel and I agree as a South African. I love Senegalese films so much and I think the only reason the world, or even other Africans themselves, lack awareness or interest is due to the language barrier but other than that I would recommend people start looking into them. Francophone African art is beautiful, whether it is film or music. I was watching the Senegalese film Atlantics and I know it's in Wolof and French, but the subtitles really helped me to enjoy it. It was so lovely. With more investment in their industry, they can produce the best quality and dominate.
Have to give it to Netflix for allowing more diversity in their shows, with shows from the Middle East, from African, from Asia, as well Europe, etc. I have never seen an actual African TV production, ever! I loved the US/BBC production filmed in Botswana called "The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency", (2008-2009), starring Jill Scott, but it was cancelled after one season. I am excited to check this show out, even though I am not all that keen on the subject or premise. Still it will be interesting to experience something African, besides maybe an independently produced movie at an African film festival, or something. Bravo! Netflix.
Nice video I so much love it...... most people remain poor only because friends and relatives discouraged and advised them against investing and trading forex while the wise ones kept investing and going higher financially
Most times having knowledge or insight a particular activity can as well be a best exercise.I can boldly say that forex is one of the profitable money exchange services that elevates investors and their financial status
Investing all my saving with Expert Mr Eric Campbell has been the best decision that I have taken, when I met him in germany at a conference i invested €20,000 into forex with his broker and made back €220,000
Cue the snowflakes who will somehow be offended by that statement, for some reason. This is in favour of black being beautiful, which I believe This statement does not mean other races aren't beautiful. Stop being so triggered.
Not really. There's has been some really good original black content coming from Netflix recently. Blood and water (amazing), Yasuke, Concrete Cowboy, When They See Us, Pretty Little Things, Siempre Bruja (Always a Witch), Nappily Ever After. I could go on. I'm not caping for Netflix because overall they could do better but it is very disingenuous to say they only do dance/music movies or gay best friends roles when they need to hire black people. I recommend you watch all of the shows/ movies I have given. They are from various genres, all of the leading actors are black and they are all very good.
I'm already counting the hours. I'm really looking forward to the series. It's great that more original content from South Africa is being added to Netflix.
It’s amazing the dance, the outfits, the colors everything about it is just amazing. Can’t stop smiling from watching it. Netflix did an amazing job with this one. Can’t wait for season 2💜💜
We need season 2!! This show is a masterpiece! Fun, energetic, lively, unique just amazing!!

When you recognize the background music of this movie trailer, finally someone give credit to the South African beat.
Is that Babes Womondo?

What's the song called?

This would be a big hit in the mid-late 2000's
