I finished and I’m on the floor in love with the result! I cannot WAIT to gift it to my mom as mushrooms are her favorite thing! Thank you for such a great tutorial
thank you so much!! this tutorial was perfect, i made my first mushroom today and ill be making more! love the pattern so so much and your explanation was SO clear. i made a few mistakes on my first one so it came out a bit wonky but its STILL cute. i recommend putting a little flower on its head and putting eyes on it, it looks SOOOOOOO cute
I made this and I’m happy with how cute it looks! I learned to increase / decrease with this project. ☺️ I will make it again just so I can perfect it too
i made 4 of these and freehanded 2 of them. the extra stitches here and there, as well as switching stitches, just makes the mushroom more "organic" looking. the base is quite floppy and after making one with single crochet (way too much work tbh), i found doubling my yarn (or use the next weight up, go up in hook size according) and following the pattern exactly worked out the best. when starting the stem, just do 12 increases in the first round of the dish instead of 24 regular doubles in the second round. this way the base is a lot sturdier and you got more room for rings!
I am sorry for being late to see the video, but I thank you very much for this beautiful clip, I am not flattering, but I really liked your work! Thank you from the bottom of my heart and I can't wait to do this beautiful work , I love your way of making wool it is very beautiful and thank you 🌟.
Hi, i've been watching ur channel ever since i started crocheting, ur channel is amazing and easy to follow..can u pls make a video on how to weave in the ends with a crochet hook plssss. That would be so helpful❤💫
I have not started to make it yet but I will soon. I just want to say I think you will be my favourite channel once I start as you make the videos very understanding especially for a person like me as I have seen like a trillion videos and I don’t understand a single thing. I do have a question that I have this fluffy yarn and whenever I try something, why does it shring like I tried to make an arm sleeve and I could not even make it a finger sleeve as it became so small.
When doing the first ring, did you mean to say magic ring instead of slip stitch as you said to pull the tail to tighten which only happens with magic rings and not when you chain. Just a small thing but loves the outcome of the actual project
Strange. When I began crocheting the stem I ended up with 25 double crochets, are you skipping the chain? I’m pretty sure I had all the correct stitches when I was crocheting the green part.
No sé que hago mal, siempre que quiero hacer la base del hongo se llena a las 6 veces de hacerlo, hago grande el agujero lo estiro, pero sigue sin hacerse bien, no sé si lo debo de apretar más.
What if the rim of my dish (the bottom part) doesn't hold up high enough, do I do another round with 2 double crochets into every 10th stitch? I might need sturdier yarn
You can try removing an increase from that round! If that’s still not enough, try removing another one and another one. If you want to make it another round instead, you would do 2 double crochets into every 11th stitch
@@ArtistMaker.no if you look closely you can see that theres an entirely different stitch used for the blue mushroom. Pretty sure its single crochet and it also uses a different pattern overall because i tried recreating it with this one and it didnt turn out like that. You can even see just by counting rows that the blue one has a lot more than the red one.
Just finished this today! Can't thank you enough for making this tutorial easy and doable 🥹 It took me just one day to finish this 😭❤ Going to give this as a farewell gift to a friend of mine :D

Can you show how,to do the blue one? Pleaseeee so cute
For the spots I did a magic circle with 5-6 single crochet stitches then sl st and sewed it on the cap
Made a second one with the mushroom a little more off centre. Came out a little wonky but still cute
Hey viv! I saw you liked one of my posts on instagram in which i tagged you ❤ tysm you will always be the one i take inspiration from ❤😖✨
Hi! Thank you for sharing and tagging me! I love seeing how everyone’s project turns out!
Making this and its been difficult but this video makes sense I’m having trouble handling the hook 😭
I have not started to make it yet but I will soon. I just want to say I think you will be my favourite channel once I start as you make the videos very understanding especially for a person like me as I have seen like a trillion videos and I don’t understand a single thing. Hi, amazing tutorial but what if the pattern for the short and stubby blue mushroom that is showed at the start of the video? Thank you!😊
When doing the first ring, did you mean to say magic ring instead of slip stitch as you said to pull the tail to tighten which only happens with magic rings and not when you chain. Just a small thing but loves the outcome of the actual project
can u create a tutorial for a string bag or any pouch??
Idk if it’s just me but the stem part of the mushroom is hard I can’t even put the yarn through the hook 😭
Going to make more rows how do i work out the stitches for the border
I just finished the green part but it’s flat, not curved will it curve in more as I do the other parts or did I do something wrong?
Strange. When I began crocheting the stem I ended up with 25 double crochets, are you skipping the chain? I’m pretty sure I had all the correct stitches when I was crocheting the green part.
Don’t count the chain!
mine too
I got 26 😂
Hi i need help when I am at 4th row it the hole can't get smaller and I can't do 24 stitches its always more i dont know how
No sé que hago mal, siempre que quiero hacer la base del hongo se llena a las 6 veces de hacerlo, hago grande el agujero lo estiro, pero sigue sin hacerse bien, no sé si lo debo de apretar más.
What if the rim of my dish (the bottom part) doesn't hold up high enough, do I do another round with 2 double crochets into every 10th stitch? I might need sturdier yarn

If you want to make it another round instead, you would do 2 double crochets into every 11th stitch
@@VivCrochets that's perfect, thanks so much! And thanks for the brilliant tutorial 💞🪄
Okaaayy i did it and it was easy for me ✨️ and it took me to make it about 2-3 hours but I DID ITTT
ITS SO CUTEEEE 🍄 💜✨️ I did purple one 💜💖

Whats the pattern for the blue one?
Do you have a tutorial for the blue mushroom on the thumbnail?
You just need to get rid of a couple rows from the stem, as long as you have 12 st by the end
For the 6th round on the dish you never stated how many double crochets we will end up with?
Since we don’t do any increases, you should have the same as the 5th round (60)
@@VivCrochets thanks a lot!
How do I make the blue mushroom
Probably make the green part the same but make the stem with less stitches to make it shorter. Than do the same for the top
@@ArtistMaker.no if you look closely you can see that theres an entirely different stitch used for the blue mushroom. Pretty sure its single crochet and it also uses a different pattern overall because i tried recreating it with this one and it didnt turn out like that. You can even see just by counting rows that the blue one has a lot more than the red one.
can you give me the chart?
I had just seen these in an advertisement to sell the pattern. How weird!
EDIT: I'm gonna make these with bulky yarn to make it jumbo size
I thought it was no sew but you have to sew the white spots on it 😢
Sorry, it means no sewing when connecting the parts! I should’ve added that you can use your hook instead of a needle
@@VivCrochets ooo thank u !!! Now I get is!! I have made one and it is super cute 🥰
my mushroom falls over I don't know what to do helpppp plsss😭😭😭
Tal vez no has rellenado lo suficiente el tallo
Wow..no wonder everyone keeps hyping this crochet channel.
Intricate?? Yes.
But still easy to follow? Definitely.
This totorial was so easy to follow! Thank you, I did not expect it to work out so good :)
Just finished this today!
Can't thank you enough for making this tutorial easy and doable 🥹
