    There’s one fact that I really looked forward to, but it never appeared in the video. In essence, they have moved the construction site to Moscow when Saint Petersburg ceased to be the the capital of the newly formed USSR. And there, a truly majestic place was chosen for the Third International. It was to be seated right next to Kremlin, on the bank of Moskva river. Sadly, it was occupied by a huge Orthodox temple of Christ the Savior. The largest in the country. So then communists blew it up, and then proceeded to never build the actual Tatlin’s tower. Instead, they made the remaining hole in the ground into a swimming pool.

      I believe that was the Palace of the Soviet, which may have come out of the same desire for a "communist hq" but was based on a different design. I think Simon did a video about it on Megaprojects

      The problem with all the systems is none of them work well when applied to humans. Humans want to get control of as many resources as they can since a "more is better" attitude helps protect against shortages. Therefore, when someone gets power they instinctively want more for themselves (and, to a lesser extent, their allies.) Thus all systems have a tendency to drift to totalitarianism, like the United States currently doing. Thus, all we need to do is eliminate humans in order to eliminate human problems... (Maybe I need to work on this theory some more.)

      Capitalism ain't no better over here in America people rights are slowly being taken away you can't say this you can't do that.
      Millions of people over here families can't pay their bills or rent tons of young teenagers live on the streets. I see it when I come home from work I'll be seeing a lot of teenagers with a bunch of bags sleeping on the trains late at night.
      While the wealthy corporate business people and celebrities live lavishly.
      My step dad used to live in this apartment complex called Carriage Hill it's a solid neighborhood back in 1996 that apartment cost 600 dollars a month. That same apartment building cost $1,200 to live in now
      Most people in America can't pay that kinda of rent and most jobs are only going to Pay you 13 an hour at the most. I make 18 an hour at the airport but not everybody can get that job. I have a 2nd job as dishwasher making 13 an hour. Over here in America most people work two jobs just so they can get by
      Not to mention the business companies over here pay their workers miniscule wages
      compared to how high the cost of living is.
      It's a video that a lot of people been doing reaction videos to called (America compared why other countries treat their people better than America.)

    As Orwell characterizes in Animal Farm, the Stalinists took a piss on anything that required imagination. Trotsky saw the limitations of the current economy and at the same time loved the vision. A hack like Simon would make Trotsky out to be dismissive of Tatlin. Tatlin, who was hated by the Stalinists.

    It looks like some sort of roller coaster ride-- one where you are lifted up to the top via an elevator in the center and then released to ride down a spiraling rail around the thing to the bottom. In fact I rode on such a ride as a kid in the Wisconsin Dells, although it was much shorter and not steel and glass. I kept half expecting a description of the rest of the amusement park. Maybe Tatman missed his calling.

    1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
    2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
    3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
    8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
    1 John 5:7
    For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
    Titus 2:13
    Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
    Revelation 1:7
    Behold, he cometh with clouds *and every eye shall see him,* and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
    Isaiah 44:6 (God speaking)
    Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.
    Revelation 1:8 (Jesus speaking)
    I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, *the Almighty.*
    Revelation 22:13 (Jesus speaking)
    I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

    There Are None Righteous / How To Be Saved
    Romans 3:10 & 23
    10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
    23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
    Luke 5:31-32 (Jesus speaking)
    31 And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick.
    32 I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance
    1 Peter 3:18 (The word “quicken” means “to make alive”)
    For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
    Romans 10:9
    That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead thou shalt be saved.
    Acts 4:12
    Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
    Ephesians 2:8-9
    8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
    9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

    It would be one thing if he just shat on communism at every opportunity, but combined with the drooling over American war machines in other videos, it reveals a cold heart at best. Yes, “communism failed” but why worship weapons of war meant to intimidate, destroy, and kill. All human life is precious and to honor those mechanisms which end it makes Simon very much the pot calling the kettle black. If only he read some Lenin…

      Capitalism ain't no better over here in America people rights are slowly being taken away you can't say this you can't do that. In my opinion capitalism is just as bad as communism. Once people have control no matter who they are they want more power America slowly turning into a totalitarianism.
      Millions of people over here families can't pay their bills or rent tons of young teenagers live on the streets. I see it when I come home from work. I be seeing a lot of teenagers with a bunch of bags sleeping on the trains late at night.
I have a part-time job as dishwasher as my 2nd job making 13 an hour. Over here in America most people have to work two jobs just so they can get by.
      Not to mention the business companies over here pay their workers miniscule wages compared to how high the cost of living is, and what do that means? it means poverty and more crime more corruption.
      It's a video that a lot of people been doing reaction videos to called (America compared why other countries treat their people better than America.) Aand in that vidhe destroys capitalism.
