- I FINALLY got a chance to walk around campus and give you all a quick tour! I wanted to keep it super short, but then realized that Ross actually has quite a big campus. I could not physically film inside C6 as many people were studying for their exams, so I did not want to disturb them. I have linked a video where Ross has shown a glimpse of the classrooms! ( The link will not show up on tablets or phones, you have to be on a computer)
**Around the 4:00 minute mark, the construction was so loud in my last little bit of me talking about the Student Center, so we decided to just put some music on, I have no idea what they were doing that early in the morning.
Enjoy and happy studies!

Good Lord has this place changed! I moved there in Dec 1999 to start Jan. 2000. Ya'll are very blessed!!!!!!!! Beautiful campus. Our food WAS the Shacks. lol.. I see Juice man is still there! :)
I love hearing from our alumni! I bet it was shocking seeing all the developments! I really enjoyed my time on island. Hope you are doing well! Thanks for you comments xo
Wow this video brings back so many memories!! This was totally an intense experience, but can't complain. After a lot of hard work I matched into radiology and hopefully go into interventional radiology. Kinda want to go back to visit sometimes.
Oh wow! Congrats on radiology! :) I would love to go back as well. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for taking your time for this tour. Helps a lot.
Awe you are welcome!
Just took your advice and had a veggie taco bowl from shack 5. Sooooo good!
Deidra Sieck haha yay! This made my day ☺
Wow this takes me way back!💕I went to school on this campus when I was just a little girl. My mom was in medical school back in 2003! I’m so happy you showed the shacks I’ve been craving the food sense I left!😅So sad it is no longer there! Thanks for posting this it!!
WOW the whole campus for one medical school. That's amazing. My med school is just one 3 storeys building in the university campus.
Thanks for the tour. I had no idea the campus was soo nice and I live in DOMINICA in GLANVILLIA.. this is INSANE!!... The campus is really beautiful, didn't know Ross University was amazing like that so thanks again
You are more than welcome!
Aww this is a nice reminder of what the Dominica campus looked like, miss my studying spots at Jenner and Student Center ... thank you for having this video up :)
You are welcome! Now that the Ross campus is on Barbados, I love this video as a great reminder of our time on Dominica!
Great video. I wish I had taken more videos during my time there. I used to live at PBH and studied at Jenner mostly on mediasite, nice to get a reminder of the iguanas too.
I know same! I am happy that this video brought back some memories!
Lots have changed since I was there. That PBH used to be a hotel. Shortly after I left the island it was taken over by Ross. Rest of the buildings look very new and modern. Hard to recognize after so much time has passed. Much more nice in your video. Classroom 5 and anatomy was there when I was there. Can’t say I miss the shacks. But the “juice man” was great. Is he still in the shack? Who remembers him. Good juices and coffee.
The juice man was my favorite! Went there almost every day when I was on the island. Thanks for commenting on your experience, always love hearing from previous students.
It was awesome to see this video again! After Maria, most of the campus and Shacks were very badly damaged. My last memory of Dominica was being evacuated after the hurricane. It was great to see what the campus looked like before it was destroyed.
Thank you for this message Deidra! I am happy it can bring some type of solace to see the island for what it was before the devastation. I am also happy I got to see you In Knoxville this past wknd as well!
@@FromD1toDr SERIOUS SERIOUS Question, how is the dating life for medicine? I know this is not a priority to some, but thinking about it, say i enter at 22, graduate at 26, finish residency in my 30s, many woman want kids and a family and a life a lil earlier. Are these things you think about, and whats your advice to a young man looking to meet a lovely woman who can share my love for medicine? She can be a nurse for all I care it's just something that bothers me thinking about since having a family is very important to me.
Very good question! I think it is important to think about your life plan, other than just your medical trajectory. I was lucky enough to have my then-boyfriend-now-husband with me on the island but he always says to spouses: "you have to work as a team". Spouses, whether it be a gf, bf, wife, husband, have to know that this commitment is huge, but you can definitely balance everything. You need to have those conversations about kids, etc, but I know many people who have kids during residency, you just have to create a plan that works for you and your partner.
Damn. Brings me back. Graduated in 2013. Miss the island. At the time all I wanted was to be done... But years later I want to go back... The shacks, james store, the barn, even the Chinese place... Wow, good times. I remember my first semester there was a coffee place next to the kfc... I would always get a bagel and coffee on Saturday morning, before going to the lecture hall to study... Good times.
Sorry to the locals that the University has left 😢

Hello Dr.
I am from India.
I Want to know that what is the total fee structure of the course in Ross?
$25,000 USD per semester and there are 10 semesters. Total: $250,000.
Why not an American Med school?
Because I go to Ross lol
I want to be a veterinarian when I graduate in am in the 8th grade and I have a 4.7 GPA so far and I'm taking two high school classes. This is 100 percent where I want to go to college but that will not happen at all I live 10 hours away from this place.
Keep going girl! If you want to become a Vet, you WILL become a Vet. Never settle for anything less. I was even MORE than 10 hours away from Dominica, I am from a completely different country...keep your eyes on the goal okay?
From D1toDr I’ll try to but my mom wants me near home. I’ll try my hardest to convince her😃
well heres the good thing about when you are an adult. you dont have to listen to your parents where you go to college.
High Kitty it’s not as easy as it sounds
High Kitty just by this comment I can totally tell you’re white LOL
you are really cute!
