Jabeur has this problem of inconsistency where she can switch from winning to losing in a blink of an eye! Unbelievable! but she has to find a solution to this issue if she wishes to stay at the top level.. so sad for her because she is truly talented and deserves to win a GS one day, soon I hope! The Girl who is nr in Tour for 100 weeks ,won 37 games in Row, winning average 70 matches every year is Definitely Average. Thanks to You Tube so you can watch some older games 5/ 10 years ago and compare level of competition now and then not only I Tennis , All sports. What I noticed. It’s getting faster,higher, stronger more competitive etc
Love Maddie Keys but the women's tour is hardly worth commenting on - just a ton of mediocre talents any of whom can win. We need another Hall of Fame player to emerge and crush these mediocrities so we see them for what they are. For an example, Sloan Stevens winning a title a few weeks ago is an indictment to the sport. Her effort level fluctuates between 0-10. The men on the other hand play at a level of 10 every match. The great players do not phone in matches and lose in round 1-2 the way ALL the women do.
sloane stephens won a wta250 so a lower tier tournament in which no top player took part. shows how much you know abt the tour...the top 3 nowadays is very consistent, esp the player that has been no1 for 100 weeks.
