Bad advice. You should research your companies well before putting your money on it. Imagine buying cosmopolitan magazine shares now without researching. Only to find out tomorrow that they are actually going out of business. Knowing a company doesn't mean it is performing well.

Money is like a seed. It doesn't turn into a fruit if you don't sow it. That's the only way it will grow. Keeping your seeds in your barn will only make you poor during the next harvest. With that said. I guess I've explained it all.
Hi it depends on what you are saving for. You can open a money market account if you are saving for the short-term, a fixed deposit account if you want a lump-sum to grow over maybe 3 to 5 years and if you want to invest for the long-term you can open an investment account and buy shares that you will keep buying and not touch until you're much much older
@@LeratoFigland choose a bank with the lowest fees and good interest rate. So far African Bank and Tyme bank offer amazing rates with no fees for african bank and very low fees with Tyme Bank.

you only make a loss when you SELL your shares. If the market drops and you do not sell, you do not lose anything. Many people do not understand that when share prices drop, thats the time to buy because they are cheap, when share prices go up, do not buy because they are expensive. But most people do it the other way round, when shares fall they panic and sell and lose money instead of selling when the prices go up. Human behavior is amazing sometimes
