- In this video I did a brief summary of how the entire Express Entry Process works, the 6 Selection/Eligibility Criteria and an overview of the point based system. You get to see the maximum point you can get for each criteria so you can intensify efforts to boost your score in respective categories.

Nice update for newbies...What’s the amount for POF if you’ve already been in Canada for about 10 months and currently doing masters , is it still 12,700 or there’s a reduced amount, or just to be safe pay the 12,700?
Igwe Amogu yes 12,700 CAD but there may be an upward review later in the year

What's the min score/ band for IELTS?
Minimum of band 6 for Federal Skilled Worker Program. Other immigration programs may have different required band for IELTS

What of self employed people?
Harry Nkele I will put up a different video for people claiming self employment as work experience. It can be a little tricky but very possible

I am currently serving in Nigeria but am planning on applying soon but issue is I have no work experience. Is there any chances of using other criteria to boost my points?
Endee Phweke if you’re working in a reputable organization for your NYSC and your job description is clearly set you can use that one year to claim work experience.

You can do both concurrently to save time. You need both your ECA report ready and IELTS result ready to join the pool
Pls what is ECA report and how is it gotten?
