- Sometimes you have to make things just for the sake of making the thing. Thats the purpose of this video I guess 😂 I knew from the start that this costume wasn't going to be screen accurate or really any good at all but I kept going, for nothing but the sake of enjoying my time being creative 😂

Love your positivity and normalizing being fine with having your own expectations and standards for how you create and focusing on what you find joy in and letting go of what doesn't even bother you. Wow the dedication of making all those little lines!! Making something always helps me get out of a funk I totally believe there’s some science behind it. Always better then do nothing at all (like me now) I can't craft now for more then 1 1/2 year!☹ Ik have to take care for my sister with dementia and now she is taking care of in a home, but then, mij brother get cancer and is dying slowly, so I lost my mojo. I don't know why you're being so mean to yourself about using sharpies to draw the lines. I can GUARANTEE that someone has done that on a professional piece before bc there are costume designers out there that are SO PICKY about their pinstripe patterns that they can and do make people hand draw the specific type of stripes they want. This sound of music dress could have been hand drawn stripes too for all we know 🤷♀️ They may not have been using sharpie's, but it's not your fault you have easier to use tools than they did.
