DGP Jaspal Singh pressurized Anjuna Police to not take any action on Assagao demolition case.

Herald TV Goa received the access to the report of PI Anjuna which was first reported in Times of India Goa to the Chief Secretary stating that DGP Jaspal Singh pressurized Anjuna Police to help Mumbai resident and a senior intelligence officer's wife Pooja Sharma to get the property vacated. Anjuna Police Station incharge Prashal Dessai and PSI Nitin Naik who were suspended after inquiry by Chief Secretary, said that DGP threatened them that if the "demolition work" was not allowed to continue, they would have to "face the consequences."
