Outstanding work! Your contribution to our sport is greatly appreciated. Your skills as a videographer allow others who can’t make the ride see and share in the beauty of the West.
That was a great video. I sat here with my morning coffee and just enjoyed what you have put together, awesome views, great campsites, very well documented. Thank you for giving me a great start to my morning!
Just want to say, as a fellow adventure rider, Death Valley has some of the best views in California, thank you for taking the time and effort to make it epic.
I love this adventure. Exploring the Mojave Desert by motorcycle is one of my dreams. I'm obsessed with the desert and the landscapes down south. Once I have a highway capable bike and I've built up my riding skills some more, I will explore all over the Mojave and farther south. Until then I live vicariously through videos like yours. Thanks for bringing us along.
Awe inspiring film. Just so jealous of the trails and space that you have to play in, here in the UK we are severely restricted and its getting less every year. Thanks again for reminding us what biking can be.
Wow, that’s some Beautiful Scenery. I would Love to ride down all the Dirt Roads back to no where. I wish we had more places like that in Texas. It’s hard to find Dirt Roads here that you can Access. Anyway another Great Video Ian as usual.👍❤️
Awesome video, definitely one of my favorites! I love the bike reviews and technical videos as well but this type of content is just as enjoyable to watch, and much harder to do well and you nailed it.
I was there too in March but not during the rally. Truly an amazing area with sometimes very rough roads with lots of rocks to fairly deep sand which keeps you alert and on your toes but an amazing and beautiful area. Liking my 2022 KLR.
Hi Ian, I have been on on almost all of these roads/trails in this short film and you did them proud. Here in SoCal we have an amazing area to explore with rich history and glorious views. Well done!
Great Channel, I picked up the 2022 Himalayan at the beginning of the year. Recently just got back from a 2000 Mi Adventure. Death Valley , Bryce canyon, Capitol reef, Arches, Canyonlands, and thru Monument Valley back home to Nevada. This was my first long ride camping all the way. Your channel inspired me to go for it! IT WAS EPIC! My little royal Enfield took me everywhere not a single problem.🤘 already planning the next trip
Such a nice and epic scenery...the way the mountain crests are showing above the desert, contrasted by the blue sky...damn...that's why we ride, fo sho! Cheers from Romania!
Great video and amazing scenery! Based on my own experience I know that the camera can never catch the full beauty of the landscape which made this video even more impressive! Loved some Himalayan footage as well.. You can never go wrong with that! =)
Thanks for including the Himalayan. My ‘19 Himi brought me back to riding. And, your piece on the V-Strom 650 led me to purchase a ‘21, for the Interstates ~
Terrific video once again! Thank you BRM. Always informative with honest insights and now you add awe-inspiring scenery and you have a "best short film documentary for the Academy Awards candidate. (If they mattered anymore). If you need a boom or extra camera dude, I'll ride out and help with my Norden next time* Keep these Vids a coming.
Gorgeous video. Technically and artistically, it looked like a documentary. Nicely done and thanks for sharing. Someone is getting their money's worth out of that Royal Enfield. Always good to see.
Beautiful scenery, places like that always make me think of the first settlers heading west, no roads or trails just a horse and cart hoping to find better. Tough people.
Hi Ian, good meeting you at the ADVrider Noobs Rally. Stoked to see our little Rogue Rider Corral at the 8:32 mark, I'm the guy in the cowboy hat. Hopefully we didn't keep you up with our music and lies around the fire.
HI Ian, very nice video. JT and Box canyon are my Sunday morning ride. Thanks for letting others share this incredible route. It's so much fun to see my roads on your videos, it brings back the feelings I had in a very enjoyable way. I'm also glad you are loving the Nordon so much, I am a Husky fan and will be getting one myself after I get rid of some of the current crop. Again great video (production values are really nice) and keep up the good work. Your enthusiasm is contagious .
What a great video to watch but especially right after coming back from motorcycle riding/camping in the same area. Thanks for capturing and sharing what I could not (except in my memories).
Well Done Ian! Death Valley NP is not for everyone, but I appreciate the landscape there. What a cool place for that event. It sounds like the wind buffeting on the 901 is really a problem (I picked up on your comment about wishing you had your GS for the ride back). Wind buffeting can ultimately spoil a motorcycle for a person, and was the reason I sold my AT. To me, the travel enduro is a tough nut to crack. They can handle the off road okay, but once you take them up to highway speeds, they are just not as competent as a touring bike for eating the miles in comfort. How would you rate these bikes in terms of long distance comfort...901, AT, Tenere 700, KTM 790/890, 850GS?
I just found out about Box Canyon road and Painted Canyon road a month ago despite living in the Coachella Valley my whole life and for some reason I've seen 4 people ride it in the last 2 weeks. Great video btw!
Ian, amazing work! This is top notch filming, production and presentation! Music choices are phenomenal. Great to see the RE Himalayan riding out there with you! Thanks for what you do for all of us out here in "Moto land"! Cheers!
I have Jeeped to all those places and more so beautiful! In panamint behind Darwin falls there is a pond in the desert full of gold fish! Yes it’s true!
I really like the tour video. The reviews you do are excellent and informative but tour videos are inspirational. It's a little like a textbook vs a novel--both have their place but stories speak to the soul.
A few years ago we did a 2 day camp out from Ballarat up into the old mining ghost towns to the infamous house where killer Charles Mason was caught, just inside Death Valley border line. Went inside a mine shaft. Then back down a dirt road to Briggs Camp, a 4x4 restored home with all the comfort of home just sitting in nowhere land. Shocking to find it. Then back to camp down the valley, back side of China Naval Weapons Center where we saw fighter jet hustling down the valley below our look out. No single track so we went to Lake Isabella for single track. What A Trail has burn since then, a tunnel of Manzanita trees minutes long.
Great videography and editing. That's some spectacular scenery for sure. The ride part with Bach's Cello Concerto playing in the background was memorable. I hope to do that this summer. I share your opinion on the Himalayan. Its auxiliary lights look just like the ones I just installed on my NC750X. Temps here just dropped below freezing for most of the week. That's my "wus" zone.
Thanks. This was a great adventure ride. The scenery was spectacular. Wish I lived closer to that area, I’d be out there every weekend. I really like your Norden 901. It seems like the perfect adventure bike. I’d have to ride one to determine if that wind buffeting would bother me as much as it does you. Happy Trails
I had to come back to this video and I think it is one of your best adventure videos Ian, and I think if you still had the Norden 901 I would buy you a better windshield for it just to see you do this again.
That looked like a perfect morning - sun is shining, no wind, no rain. You should try moto camping in Norway, I can't remember the last time anything was dry when I woke up 😅 Excellent video Ian, "why we ride" - I like it!
Fabulous video, as usual. Planning to ride through Death Valley next year. Coming from BC, where everything is twisty, I'm drawn to those wide-open desert routes.
I like the music that you had for the video. It's very relaxing. I like your bike. I only wished that they made front side rails like on the Africa twin to protect the front sides.
First well it’s a nice bike and nice set up looks neat. I ride a Fat Bob 2015. It’s a Tractor lol. Lovely part of country to ride in. Cheers John from Gold Coast Australia.
I really enjoy your videos, thank you so much for introducing me to the Husqvarna Norden 901. I´ll definitely buy one as fast as I can. I can see that you decided to mount the other mirrors that you spoke about in the introduction episode. Nice! May I ask what mirrors those are? Btw, I was on an Himalayan for 4 months in India. An awesome adventure bike introduction for me. Love the content! Hoping for some noise solution for the windshield, since that seems to be the problem. Bless /H
Thanks for taking us along on the ride. This Norden appears very versatile, but isn't the 690/701 more so? Sat on a Norden and was amazed how light it felt that I'm having second thoughts about the 701.
Thanks for your beautifull and longer video's. It is because of you i will probably buy the Norden 901. Once a year i wander of for a couple of weeks into nature. The T7 is a nice bike but to me it is to topheavy. And the lack of horsepower. Coming from a 1190 R Adventure i think this Norden doesn't let me to much down. Although i like my beast. There should also be a extra fuelltank option ? You can use this comment with KTM to cash in a bit.😇 Greetings from the Netherlands, 👍
You certainly put together a classy video edit. That Norden look very nice; get the screen problem sorted and it may be every bit as good if not better than the T7.
Hi Ian, I recently mounted the Rottweiler Quick flip mirrors. Surprisingly good view but what surprised me the most was how much the buffeting was reduced. Edit: My bike is a 890R
Loved this. Off camera narration much better, more concise and tight. I find moto logs (generally speaking and this isn't aimed at you specifically ) tiring after awhile as they tend to ramble and have too much other noise. Well done.
Thanks for this. I returned to riding in 2015 and I have had a few bikes since then. Currently trying to decide to consolidate to one style of bike that can do several things well. I maybe trading in my Goldwing for a great ADV style bike since having a VStrom 650 has given me an appreciation for the overall comfort of the ADV seating position.
Great video as always. Living vicariously thru these videos. That was a nice tent. Have you put together a camping setup video? I would love to see the gear you chose and why.

Outstanding work! Your contribution to our sport is greatly appreciated. Your skills as a videographer allow others who can’t make the ride see and share in the beauty of the West.
Like always, amazing video, editing and scenery… Thank you Sir.
Beautiful. This is a nice break from the more technical videos. You should include more of these in your mix.
That was a great video. I sat here with my morning coffee and just enjoyed what you have put together, awesome views, great campsites, very well documented. Thank you for giving me a great start to my morning!
Awesome, thank you!
Just want to say, as a fellow adventure rider, Death Valley has some of the best views in California, thank you for taking the time and effort to make it epic.
You’re a busy guy - working hard for us out there! ✊🏼🏁 Thanks for adding the general locations!
Stunning videography and photography. Great production value. I love the vistas of the U.S. southwest. Thanks for sharing Ian.
My pleasure!
We really appreciate all the content you are providing us with. Can’t wait to start riding soon! 👌🏽

Awesome video! I am blessed to reside in the southwest and I am absolutely in love with Death Valley and the surrounding areas like Joshua Tree.
The Norden is a very nice bike. The first one I'd swap my Africa Twin for. Love your content and hope to see you in Australia one day
Really stunning. I'm in Europe so seeing this scenarios are just incredible
This is our backyard yup! Where are you? Glory to Ukraine! 🇺🇦
@@Porsche996driver I'm in Switzerland glory to Ukraine!!
@@Jeyjey-vb2pt Mate, Swiss is heavenly beautiful , lots of mounty roads, picturesque places everywhere
@@Killswitch-ON Yeah I know but no desert or anything of this kind... glory to Ukraine!!
Get your self to Spain. It's pretty much the same scenery as Ian enjoyed in the video, and of course the Sierra Nevada shares the same name.
Stunning views on that magnificent trip👍and always nice on an Adventure bike! Great video Ian✌️
Awe inspiring film. Just so jealous of the trails and space that you have to play in, here in the UK we are severely restricted and its getting less every year. Thanks again for reminding us what biking can be.
Yes, it’s tough not being able to roam. Hence, Sweden calls….

I like the music choice
excellent choice of music, narration and footage. love this channel
Really enjoyed that. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to the imminent 100k subscribers celebration.
Simply awesome. Thanks for sharing. We're riding along vicariously with you, Ian. The music is perfect!!
Glad to hear it!
Beautifully done man, and original too. Thank you. I'm gonna listen to Bach cello suites next time I'm on the road.
your best video yet Ian.
Glad you think so!
One of my favorites on your channel. The voice over with historical info. Great images. Well done. I’m going to have to look up the ghost town
Awesome! Thank you!

Thanks for sharing Ian, great video.
I love riding anywhere near the 395 there’s so much there to discover
I did that exact decent into Death Valley some time ago on my Dad's 1972 Suzuki TS400. Very maneuverable bike, not much for breaking. 🤪
What a great video to watch but especially right after coming back from motorcycle riding/camping in the same area. Thanks for capturing and sharing what I could not (except in my memories).
