When the market goes down then it's buying opportunity. If the market goes up then you are making money. If you stay invested and ignore the market's ups and downs, you'll make a lot of money in the long run; however, a severe market correction causes a lot of margin calls and sell-offs, driving the market even lower. currently, I'm up 13% in my diversified portfolio. As crazy as it sounds some still make enormous returns from this seemingly unknown market. gotta be greedy when others are fearful

@@harrisonmichael5047 I have my portfolio very well-diversified, though I did it using trad signals from a US-regulated broker *PRISCILLA DIANE AIVAZIAN* financial analyst and CNBC contributor and it's been a huge relief. Good earnings and little to no engagement at all on my part. Her stock picks are top-notch, I don't worry about market trends anymore because she's quite the genius in trading and portfolio diversification

@@harrisonmichael5047 Exactly, most people get it wrong trying to profit off of every move the market makes. Chasing gains is like chasing losses for gamblers. Buy good companies at a good price and watching paint dry is the best advice I can give. Long-term investors know that the market and economy will recover eventually, and investors should be positioned for such a rebound.

I’m blessed and realizing I’m not the only one working with *PRISCILLA DIANE AIVAZIAN* will consider myself lucky. I’ve been able to feed and make a living through her advice and great work. For such a person as her, we owe her gratitude, support, and endless prayers as it is not easy to gain access to such a competent and reliable adviser. She isn’t just wise but has all it takes to handle investment and is good at what he does.

It does not make sense to me investing when you have a bunch of credit card debt at 17% interest with 22,000 cash flow per year you can keep 10K as buffer and use 12K which is $1,000 a month toward debt and be debt free within 5 years then invest additional $1,000 a month forward

Very true, I find myself lucky enough exposed to money management at an early age. Worked full time when I was 19, purchased first home at 28, fast forward time... I'm 50 now, got laid off March 2020 amidst lockdown, a blessing in disguise. At once, I consulted an advisor to stay afloat and with subsequent investments, I'm only 15% short of $1m as of today.

Its worse here, our economy is like a flailing fish, fighting for its life. The normal state of the U.S. economy is actually very bad. Because of this it goes into convulsive spasms fighting to grow any way it can out of desperation. Tricks, gimmicks, rule changes try to stimulate the economy and prevent it from falling but they only bring temporary relief to people since, when you factor in inflation we are declining.

You have a very valid point, I started investing on my own and for a long time, the market was really ripping me off. I decided to hire a CFA, even though I was skeptical at first, and I beat the market by more than 9%. I thought it was a fluke until it happened two years in a row, and so I’ve been sticking to investing via an analyst
