Thank you. who knew that the tab at the base of the wiper needed to be lifted up first. That really was a one-minute project after watching this video.
You're welcome, glad I could help you out 👍
I knew not to force that arm...glad you were there for me Jonny
Happy I could help you out 🙌👍
Thanks! I can't believe that the Toyota Highlander owner's manual doesn't have any information on replacing wiper blades. After watching your video, it took 30 seconds to change blades. 🙂
Awesome, happy I could help you out. You're very welcome 🙌👍
Thank you this really helped because I bought a used 2006 Highlander and knew there had to be a “trick” to getting the wiper arm swung out-thanks again!
You're very welcome, happy I could help you out 👍
Thank you very much Jonny! Much more clear than even the Toyota Service Advisor I asked!

Thanks! I was worried I was going to break it because I didn’t know about the back plastic piece coming up. 😅
You're very welcome, happy I could help you get it done. Yes, it does seem like it's going to break until removing that piece 😆👍

I clicked the link but it’s a different style then you showed
( highlander 2012)
Dang thanks will look into it and try and update it. Thanks! 👍
This works on my 22 highlander, I bought the rain X 12 inch blade wiper for the rear and it is rubbing in the middle of the glass not getting all the water wiped, what blade do I need for the rear, the one I got is the rain x R-12-B expert fit they have the A and E models also but I don’t know what one to get or if I got the right one… help help!! Lol
I believe the 2022 uses a 10" blade and try and get a "beam" style. They work the best in my experience 👍
@@JonnyDIY I called Rain X lol, they said a 12 inch is what is I should have, but I just compared the factory one to a 12 inch blade and it is in fact a 10 inch wiper for the rear, thanks for the help! :)
@@sirseacow4462 you're welcome, happy to help 👍
Only thing is you lose that nice factory flush look that comes with the oem one. The original has a flush black cover piece on the end.
Ohh nice, yeah I don't know what happened to the factory wiper blade on this one. Think was already gone when this car was bought
@@JonnyDIY I actually picked one up today at autozone for 13dollars and it has that factory end cover on it. Thanks for making a detailed video. Now if I can only find the elusive 2007 Highlander in Black with it just being Front Wheel Drive and get rid of my gas gobbling 400LBS of extra weight AWD one. But trying to find one like that is like finding a thousand naked Selena Gomez's running towards you eating warm strawberry pop-tarts _not easy.
@@Shadowman... ohh mann you're right I almost NEVER see a black highlander for some reason. They mustn't have sold many. Ahahaha 1000 Selena's would be nice! 🤤💕👍
