Didnt realize it was this hard, thought it was easy since all the resources are there but damn the 40k gold from AI is no joke, endless wave. Genius idea to protect the resources really im stucking with no resource to defense
Honestly i couldn’t beat the stage for weeks, and eventually i started thinking out of the box which led to this. This was actually the 1st time i managed to beat the stage. Nowadays every stage is super easy and boring. Slow down the game as thats the only way to match the ai’s build speed, build the same castle and placement of the walls and towers, focus on defence with archers, and focus on the closest resource. If it does not work, i found that i just didnt build fast enough.
Nice man. I've been nerding out at this game and just realized you can adjust game speed. I've been using the default 40 lmao. This was the first one I had to searchup how to do it, very very hard. Anyways, I just beat it, I spent my whole starter money on macemen and rushed the Lion, rushed his barracks first so he couldnt spawn troops, then killed him and got 9k. Focused back on castle setup a wall of 5 Square towers like you basically did to cover my spawn. Filled them up with crossbows/ballistas/shields then setup resource mines, and wheat plantation, made another 10k then expanded my towers closer to enemy putting capapults on them to rain down enemies towers. I make use of the engineers Catapults (the 3 person ones) just setup 10 of them and let them pour over their castle. Then rush with macemen when the castles weak. in the past i used the 150 horsemen to attack lion, but for the arabians that use the high towers, i just catapults. Not sure which is better. Nice video though.
I use to use a variety of troops, and make realistic castles for the fun of it, but now that the games in such a rough difficult level you have to be creative or make ulitility of overpowered things. Like making a castle out of towers lol
im spamming hard right now. haha. the thing i got the most out of this video is putting the stock pile right next to iron/quarry for maximum efficiency. I watched a few other levels you did and you like to use the regular achers, crossbows are soo good on defending/holding down a certain area. I personally think the regular archers miss to many shots and are unrealiable unless in numbers. I like using them just for maps when slaves are nonstop coming at me.
Tearitup i couldnt beat it without slowing the game speed, and moving out the main castle, so i had to think out of the box and it worked :) personaly this was one of the hardest missions, in comparison to the last one, this one is 50% harder
yeah i tried it 10 different times and all i was in very bad shape and restarted. It was the hardest by far with nonstop waves coming at you, and it's very annoying when your tower ballistas don't prioritize catapults and they constantly are destroying your towers. It was pretty easy with Lion out of the picture from the start along with additional 9,000 currency to build a defensive wall.
The only thing to change would be - well you blocked some iron mines with your stone mines [so you didn't get all the iron produced] - since you are more focussed on defence high fear factor means +25% units strength/power so I wouldn't remove it [at max put all the gardens outside of reach so they don't waste time] - considering the highly defendable position, grain and beer can be perfect to reach +8/+8 popularity and then put taxes to the much - tbh, I'd just go with arabian lord since arabian archers >>> crusader one :D
I remember that this mission was also hard for me, but some years ago I somehow managed to do it without this relocation thing that you did (it's amazing btw, I wouldn't have thought of that). I think I messed up the Caliph's economy with trebuchets and fire ballistas at the beginning, and after doing that the mission became much easier.
i didn't modify anything brother :) the only thing i played with is game speed, and you can see that on the start, ai has a certain speed of building, and with max game speed it builds faster than any human can :P so that's why i slow it down, the other things are default :)
i can agree this is the most hard stage i have come across but i admire your strategy using the advantage of the landscape
ty Josh, in the near future im gonna do the series again with smarter ai mods and commentary, got some sweet stuff to show off ;)

There are hotkeys for game speed:
+ and - on the numpad.
So you don't need to go to the menu.
ty mate :D i actually didn't know :o
Interesting use of the stockpile. That certainly greatly improves the economy you are using. I probably should consider approaches like that too.
I didn't think about this strat. Nice gameplay.

Perfectionism is your problem
The forgotten is hard one too

there is always room to make it better :) i do agree, sometimes speed beats perfection, but yeah ure 100% right
this mission can be played on different lvl of tactic. i sued this one also
I beat the lion with maceman first, and the next one would be easy

i played this mission 30-40 times and always failed, then the relocation happened, gj on managing to beat em the proper way :D
i never did :D
wtf? you have to rush lion and build tower with crossbowmans as close to calif as posible. ez win.
great idea bro :D
Незнаю почему в 2024 году порекомендовали
Offense starts at 38:00
i tried beating it the regular way, after few days just said fck it, lets improvise it :D
Plz mind set game ok

Game speed 🤣🤣🤣
I watched some videos and I think you modified the game (hacker)

@@edit_your_friends hi how to you move your stockpile?????
@@aa1944-k2r you have to sell everything from it and then destroy it, and the new one can be placed anyware :)
@@edit_your_friends thx, but where the people still come out from the keep right?
@@aa1944-k2r yeah, thats why i build walls to protect them from the enemy while i need them :)
u cheated
