Israel has banned Al Jazeera after weeks of standoff between prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Qatar-owned channel. Netanyahu has accused Al Jazeera of endangering Israeli soldiers and acting as a "mouthpiece" of Hamas. Israeli officials raided Al Jazeera's offices in Jerusalem and seized equipment after which the channel's broadcast was stopped. Qatar, which funds Al Jazeera, also funds the Palestinians terror group Hamas. Jewish groups have accused Al Jazeera of anti-semitic reportage and holocaust denial. Recent op-eds and social media posts by Al Jazeera reporters have also praised Hamas for the attack carried out on October 7th. Palki Sharma tells you more.

@@shashd9330 I watch al Jazeera their reporting is thorough but sometime they ommit important facts when it comes to the history of palestine/Israel conflict. Qatar is small state they are probabbly neighbot of hamas which is also supported by Qatar al Jazeers.
Indian govt also need to ban Al Jaljeera. Their coverage of Kashmir issue is always biased. Sometimes to end biasness you need to cull it instead of calling it out. I support Israel's action here.

Going after propaganda outlets is an important thing to do when a country is at war.
India is already balancing the scale on international press. Such an honest and unbiased analysis.
Indian govt also need to ban Al Jaljeera. Their coverage of Kashmir issue is always biased. Sometimes to end biasness you need to cull it instead of calling it out. I support Israel's action here.
