You should do book covers and sell them in your shoppe. And have it set up for people can come in and make their own. That would be cool!! Love you guys.
I have the same Joy of Cooking Book! Mine is from the 70/s too! I chuckled when you went by all the clear glasses...and someone threw a pink spatula in there...changed their mind, I do that too! Back away from the clock Zeb! Hee heeeee.
Thank you for taking me along. I waited all day for my daughter to get off work. We were on our way to Hobby Lobby and she wasn’t feeling well. Ya wanna go home? No, I’m alright just car sick... Bought 7 up pulled in the lot and she threw up in the parking lot. Soooo, needless to say we came back home. Poor thing she has a fever and hopefully not the flu. She’s 36 next week but they never get to old for Moms care. Anyway I needed the virtual outing thrifting...😛
I came to the comments to see if anyone mentioned The Joy of Cooking. Is that the book that has ALL the basics in it? I have it in the cupboard. I think I used to refer to it all the time when I was learning to cook. It was a gift from my mom!
I think it's hilarious that I am in Alabama and often see yall buying things that I have (great minds DO think alike😉) I have that exact same black mirror ( mine was actually gold when I bought it. I plan to paint white over & distress, the design is identical) AND I found 3 of the little wood people ? at a yardsale. I may need to check my garage to make sure my husband hasnt been shipping donations to your thrift stores😳😂 great thrifting today!
Enjoyed the shopping trip! Oh I hope you are not taking the view of the mountains for granted! I absolutely live those mountains! I live our flat rich open farm land in Ohio county but we lack the beauty your area has with the mountains!
You guys have top pick when it comes to thrift store options! So jealous! All we have in Fort Worth Texas are Goodwills... and gosh those snowy mountains in the background @ 7:13 are just beautiful!
I love when you do these videos! Our Habitat for Humanity is great. Always find good stuff there. I'm excited for tomorrow (Saturday) our local thrift store closed last month for renovations and they reopen tomorrow. Can't wait to see the changes. John & I always going thrifting when we're out and about. Whether it's down to Dagsboro area or up into PA we are always on the look out for a new thrift store to check out or a flea market.
In SW Virginia it is VERY hard to find anything at thrift stores. If you do find something, the price might knock you down. I found a star shaped candle in a resin gold holder, there were several, maybe new, someone had put the plastic back on, sort of, $10 bucks each! There are people at each store that spend most of the day there. LOVE the gold mirrors.
The Joy of Cooking is a classic! That copy is in super good condition! I guess the owner didn't use it like I did. Mine is covered in cooking stains! You'll sell that for sure!
That Joy of Cooking may be with some $$. Look and see :). I’m envious of the prices you all find stuff for. In my area prices are ridiculously high. The only thing I scored yesterday was a beautiful chalk religious figurine of Jesus for $3.00. Normally things start at $4.98 for anything here. It’s crazy! Well that just means I have to work harder but I opened my online shop and sold my first item!! Thanks for the encouragement guys!!
Wow! Great prices at your Restore. Our local habitat for humanity is super expensive. I couldn't find a single piece of furniture for under $80. The lowest priced table & chairs (4 chairs) was $350.
Jami, bought 4 of those creative co-op planters from Wayfair last year and painted them with blue & green with milk paint I got from you. Turned out super cute!
Tuesday I was thrifting at a Goodwill and thought of you two. There was a red Chinese man, I’m not sure if he was a Buddha (he was standing and not fat), and I thought, “Jamie would totally buy this and paint it Apothecary 🤪 !
I just went to my Restore here in Anthem today! I hadn't been in awhile. The only thing I found was a NAU hoodie but I was happy because that's where my oldest is heading in the Fall!
Love the oval gold mirror! I know you don’t sell much MCM, but I was aching for you to buy some of that furniture! Thanks for the shots of the Wasatch, I sure miss those mountains.
Nice picks!!! I love the chairs too. Also love the big frame, the mirrors and the hobnail dishes. Don't get those great prices at our thrift stores though.
I’ve always been a thrifter, and my favorite job was working at a thrift store here in Minneapolis. I enjoyed your shopping trip. And I look forward to see how you do that black mirror, because I have a full length mirror in my garage that someone spray painted black.
Oh I like what I see so far! I finally made it to a Goodwill in Albany NY and it was a small one .....it was mostly clothing! No great finds for me! Loving how your shop is looking ! Love all the “aqua blues and greens “ you are displaying.....Welcome Spring ( as we are in the middle of a big snowstorm...LOL!!! At least it won’t last long now! ) What amazing views of the mountains! Beautiful.... beautiful! I will add that to my list of “ Pros” for, thinking I need a U-Haul and driving out ! LOL!
My sister lives there in Utah, where is your store located? I want to tell her about it...because I would love for her to go and I would love to go but i a'm over on east coast...lol.🙁
That is the cook book of all cook books!!
Oh I love the old book… The Trumpet of the Swan. It was My kids favorite book to read during their younger homeschooling years.
That is a classic cook book and a great find.
You should do book covers and sell them in your shoppe. And have it set up for people can come in and make their own. That would be cool!! Love you guys.
Can't wait to see those chairs painted so the carving will really pop! Thanks Jami and Zeb!!
Ohhh those snow capped mountains 💕💕💕
Love your thrifting videos 😊💕👍🏽
Thanks!
I had two mirrors just like those. 60-70s era.
You can’t go wrong if it’s got Joy on it. 🤪
I have the same Joy of Cooking Book! Mine is from the 70/s too! I chuckled when you went by all the clear glasses...and someone threw a pink spatula in there...changed their mind, I do that too! Back away from the clock Zeb! Hee heeeee.
Hehehe
Love the mirrors!!! The tall metal vases sold look pretty with hydrangeas in them!
Oh and the chairs are stunning!!!
I think you could have added a lot more in the back of your SUV! LOL. You got some cool stuff, love the mirrors!
Thank you for taking me along. I waited all day for my daughter to get off work. We were on our way to Hobby Lobby and she wasn’t feeling well. Ya wanna go home? No, I’m alright just car sick... Just seeing those, hopefully she’s on the mend!
Thank you. She was fine the next day. Must have been a 24 hr thing. Thank the Lord.

Those snow covered mountains looked gorgeous! We don’t see that in Mississippi 😕

What, Zeb passed up that grandfather clock and Jamie got mirrors lol. Great haul, y'all!! Can't wait to see more!
Hehe, that grandfather clock was $100.00. Way too much for a thrift clock. 😊
@@JamiRayVintage Wow, that is quite a bit!
Stunning wishing I could find this in Australia where I live
Enjoyed the shopping trip! Oh I hope you are not taking the view of the mountains for granted! I absolutely live those mountains! I live our flat rich open farm land in Ohio county but we lack the beauty your area has with the mountains!

Ohhh my. This is where my sister in law served part of her mission at the Welfare Square.
Fun! I love it down there.
Great finds!
I love wood bowls too!
I have that same Joy of Cooking cookbook that belonged to my mother but a lot older ❣️❣️
Great haul❣I think the cookbook is a "must" accent for your house,Jami! It's apothecary color!! Sooo cute!

Can't wait to see how you transform the big frame.
Wow! Great prices at your Restore. Our local habitat for humanity is super expensive. I couldn't find a single piece of furniture for under $80. The lowest priced table & chairs (4 chairs) was $350.
Oooh that’s tough, our restore is very busy. I think if they didn’t sell it cheap they would get overloaded with donations.
I love thrifting with you guys. It is very satisfying...You inspire me constantly ...Love my favorite couple !
Awww, ❤️❤️❤️
Love all your finds. See you guys live tomorrow night ❤️❤️
Jami, bought 4 of those creative co-op planters from Wayfair last year and painted them with blue & green with milk paint I got from you. Turned out super cute!
Awesome!
Love everything, especially the mirrors !
Thanks for taking us along with you. It was fun!

Hehe. I’ve got something fun to paint tonight. 😊
I just went to my Restore here in Anthem today! I hadn't been in awhile. The only thing I found was a NAU hoodie but I was happy because that's where my oldest is heading in the Fall!

You guys have such a great eye for thrifting. I can't wait to tune in Saturday to see what you DIY. You guys are my favorite!
Great finds but what did you get for lunch ? lol
BGR burgers!
Look up the value of the Joy of Cooking . some of the early printings can be worth something
Great finds! I’m struggling to find good things at my thrift stores lately. Thanks for the inspiration to venture out of my immediate area. 🙏💖
We venture out about once a month. 😊❤️
Lucky you...my husband won't go near a thrift store.
Nice picks!!! I love the chairs too. Also love the big frame, the mirrors and the hobnail dishes. Don't get those great prices at our thrift stores though.

You were at the Salt Lake Habitat? They must have cleaned it up a bit.
A little lol
sad you didnt get the hutch from the 2nd stop it looked so neat
It was a good one. Would have been excellent for books...or printer filament?
Fun video but I kept saying as I watched, "Wait, go back I want that..."

🦋I found an oak (really solid) dining room table at the Habitat Store, but I couldn't fit it in my car. So sad.
That’s hard! Sometimes Zeb steals things to the roof lol.
