- This is a rather long video, but I'll be making a necklace, multistrand bracelet, earrings, and a ring using beads from the JJB Magical Mystery Beads box for January 2024. This box was a collaboration with Silversilk, so I'm using some capture chain and 3-needle chain in my designs.
I'm also using some tassels that my friend Melonie sent me & I'll show you the pink beads and things she sent me since I love pink & she's not so fond of it.

Thanks for all your reply’s. I forgot about why you don’t sell. Makes perfect sense. I far more enjoy making vs selling I used to sell in galleries and a few indoor shows but gave that up. Now only have a party at my house once a year. I sell out and it helps to give me money to buy more glass. So I can keep going. So happy you found what works for you and family very important 🥰

Melonie is so generous. And there's a lot of administrative and fulfillment work that goes alongside having a commerce site to sell handmade items & I'm self-aware enough to know that I wouldn't enjoy doing. I have a full time job and am a carer for family that needs extra help so adding that on top of what I have to do every day would be too much for me to handle.
When you made multi strand bracelet I could not hear/ understand why you choice that crimp tool? Vs magic crimp tool. Still new to the magic one so don’t know when to use each one. Thanks
Partly it was because I didn't want to go find a whole different tool and partly was to challenge myself to practice a crimping style I don't usually use. I'm actually going to re-steibg that part though, because I don't like the way the crimp goes inside the bead next to it while it's being worn. I could use a crimp cover, but I don't like those very much.
