the reason for the secrecy isnt because of the ET's and how the public will take it (not anymore at least) but because the next question asked will be "okay so how do they work? how is it possible to go faster than the speed of light?" and the answer to that is a double-edged sword. the same technology used to fly the craft can also be used to provide virtually limitless free energy to the entire planet. THAT is the reason for the secrecy now. there are the 1%ers that own the oil, power, utilities companies that would instantly go from essentially controlling the macro-economic system to having no power at all.

I think that depends on a number of different factors. It’s one thing if Joe Scientist ET is here collecting rocks to take back to his Alpha Centurion lab for study. It’s a totally different story if Joe isn’t alone in his quests to visit earth and tens, maybe even hundreds of other species are doing the same with benevolent or malevolent motives known or worse, yet unknown. With a species that must have capabilities to traverse light years what in hell are we able to DO about that?!? The answer? Nothing! It’s like suggesting ground squirrels could prevent the actions of humans against them, besides just RUN! That’s a problem. No government wants to admit that at least with some visitors we have no control over what they do or don’t do here.

The fact that some pilots, who have dedicated their life to live the dream of being a pilot, are accepting to put this dream at risk is a proof to me that the story is real. If a pilot sees something so incredible that he needs to report it, then I trust him.
I know a pilot who hasn't seen anything but he said he has colleagues he trusts implicitly who say they have seen things. It was stated during the hearing that the House Oversight committee was *denied* access to the Sensitive compartmentalized information facility (SCIF) - effectively blocking their access to the bulk of what Grusch can testify to. Who/What entity controls access to the SCIF that Congress typically uses? If it's DoD, I would say that is a huge conflict of interest given the circumstances.
DoD should never be able to do that members of congress if they are members of the overseeing committee and are in the process of doing an investigation.

It sounds tough, and what you're alluding to is true (Matt thinks they all should have clearance) but he/they actually DID have a discussion and Luna and Burkett did not have the proper level of access, Matt did. What the exact difference I dont know, but Matt did mention he's been on Armed Services Committee for 7 years, so that may be what raised him to the security clearance level. I kind of get it, with hundreds of congressmen and constantly in and out, I can see how this is more of a "need to know" type thing. Luna is in her 20's and only months in to her term as a congresswomen. Matt actually could get in trouble for describing the classified information, obviously don't want that to happen, but democrats will seize anything they can. They're ruthless and relentless, and republicans are just whipping boys who take it and dont fight back. I'd love for that not to be the case, but the 1st hearing they had about this, the guy opened up the proceedings with a moment of silence for "white supremacy" I kid you not, an embarrassment but is what it is.

Amazing testimonies today, absolutely life changing for humans around the globe. These sightings have been reported everywhere, it's not a US issue, it's an Earth issue. Remember the Belgian Air Force video from the 90s. The General stated how their jets couldn't keep up with the UFOs and how it bent physics.

I'm shocked that any government can keep from us things of this nature. We have a right to know everything. This is our planet too. Apparently he gave too much info and may just get a slap on the wrist OR may have his clearances jeopardized. He was not supposed to give that much information.
