Your holiday collage is sooooo cool! I love it and the way you used it in your cards is awesome. Your family tradition is so wonderful. Very special to have those memories of making cards together with your Mum! I bet the neighbors will be quite happy to receive your card. Thank you for sharing. ❤🎄
These are wonderful! I grew up with the same tradition and still do it. I produce more than I can use, so delight in sharing with organizations that can use cards - For example, nursing homes, veterans, and military organizations, too! TFS. ❤
Thank you for bringing back memories of crafting with my mother at Christmas. I've only started crafting since I took early retirement and I wondered why it makes me feel so happy. I now know that part of the reason is that it brings back happy memories.❤
I make 350 Christmas cards for my son's clients. He's an accountant and every year I make more and more cards, all the same, but every year is a different pattern. For my friends and family I'm going to start making ones like you just showed. A friend of mine make loads and loads of cards this way and sends them to nursing homes. Such a wonderful idea.
Ceri you are brilliant! I always hoard my Christmas cards and display them every year, but as I'm getting older I am running out of space. This is a great way to give them new life. Thanks for sharing❤
Very simple, very neat, and the cherry on top, recycling. Way to go Ceri❤❤❤. I’m going to be more minimalist this year, virtual cards to everyone. Personalised ones, postal service is expensive and unreliable for me.
Ceri, what a fabulous idea, I am doing it now, I can't believe how cards I have, you're a genius to think of this, thanks for sharing, enjoy your Sunday.
We did exactly the same with the cards. With those fabric scissors I think pinking shears. We made new tags. Happy childhood memories. I remember piles and piles of cards. Not like today. No greetings cards are safe from the shears. 💜
A lovely trip down memory lane. I grew up doing the same thing with Christmas cards. We also used to make gifts from a margarine tub decorated with construction paper and filled with Epsom salts coloured with food colouring! I still keep birthday and Christmas cards for same purpose!
so beautiful cards !!! thank you for sharing the process ! I will keep them in mind for next year, a little bit too late for 2024as we are on December the 8th and I have a ton of projects ..... I love hearing about your Christmas traditions !!
Love the cards, and that you recycle them! Great tradition ❤ According to the weather service in Sweden Wales got hit hard by the storm. Hope you are ok! ⛈️
Ooooh… I love those colors so much! I just went on their website and ordered some for me. Going to make a masterboard for a project that I am working on. Thanks so much for the inspiration!😊
I work at a company and we usually get @ 200 Xmas cards every year. So I make sure I clean up the lobby and take all the cards home. I try and make as many "crafty" cards as possible. I hand them out to coworkers and friends in my condo complex and any extras I take to the local charity shop. It's quite fun!
Gorgeous cards x i dont send many cards at all, this year i had a go at making watercolour cards and quite happy with the final result.we always make gift tags from christmas cards its so much fun and when you get them out the next christmas you forgot which ones you made x
Hi Ceri, thank you for your company this afternoon while I was marzipanning my Christmas cake. I got it all done and cleared up while your video was paying in the background. It is spookily familiar when I listen to your traditions and family stories as they are so similar to mine. Happy memories, eh!! Love your cards and would be super happy to get one if I was your neighbour. Take good care Janey Xx
Very nice! I love that you recycle the cards. I have a friend who signs her name on a sticky note and attaches it in the inside of the card., that way I can give her the same card back - she does it for everything - Christmas cards and birthday cards!
Hi Ceri, can you please share how you create your gorgeous 12 x 12 papers, (master boards??), & their binder book? Such a clever idea & sheets look more incorporated than other master boards I've seen created. Please explain/demo 🙏 ❤
I love a tradition like this. The cards are beautiful!
Love the cards and hearing about your tradition. Thank you so much. I appreciate you. Love&hugs to you and Biscuit.
Thank you so much for the invitation Darcy.

We did the same with pinking shears. My mother only realised later that we'd ruined her pinking shears by cutting up Christmas cards!
Beautiful transformation Ceri. Thanks for sharing 😊
Loved hearing about your Mom and harvesting cards❤
Lovely cards. I always make gift tags from received Christmas cards. I really fancy making a 12 x 12 page using up scraps. Thanks for sharing 👌

We have the same birthday! Way more thought goes into recreating them than buying them.
I agree

Yes we were
Absolutely beautiful!!

I recycle my cards also. I have been doing it for years.
Beautifully done🩷
Thank you! 😊
Wow, how did you make the original 12x12 that you chopped all up, very beautiful cards.
Here is a link where I show how I created a similar master board. ua-cam.com/video/PW4nQ47usao/v-deo.htmlsi=j2Inr0oGalX33AuI

I will try and make a master board in the new year and at the same time do a flip through of my 12x12 scrapbook where I create them.
Waiting for the click bait puppy 😂
To me it seems that glue sticks are more expensive. They dont last as longvas my bearly glue
I tend to buy glue sticks in bulk so they work out cheaper that way
Brilliant!
