Viaggio a Bodrum, l'antica Alicarnasso

Bodrum (the modern name for the ancient Dorian city of Halicarnassus) was the birthplace of Herodotus and the location of famed Mausoleum (one of the Seven Wonders of the World) of the Carian ruler Mausolus. The city is now known primarily for its beaches, nightclubs, and the 15th century Castle of St. Peter, built by the Knights of St. John in 1406.
