- We can use WISH with different grammar tenses in English to say different things!
In this video you will master the differences between
I wish I had time
I wish I'd had time
I wish you would help me.
We can use PAST SIMPLE for unreal tenses, similar to second conditional ideas.
We can also use the PAST perfect to talk about imaginary past actions.
Finally we can use Wish with WOULD to talk about other people's behavior!
Watch the video now to learn how to master these differences!
Please take a moment to share this video or recommend it to a friend learning English.
I want to share my lessons with as many people as possible!

Cool! where did you see me speaking in Portuguese, I don't remember posting that!
Thank you so much teacher Terry for this recap we learnt together recently. I wish you and ETL private community had come into my life much earlier. I wish the learners as me would be able to easily find such great online teachers and communities as you that help to do a quantum leap in learning language every single day and to not regret about it in the future. I definitely dont throw money away in drain by choosing you🥰
You are so kind! I will return the compliment and say you are a great! student!
@@EnglishwithTerry thank you🥰
Talking about cigarettes butts 🚬: Tatiana recently found about 80 of them just around our school....
Well, as for me : one of the main things I wish is to have more time (I wish I had more hours in a day to make all of my wishes come true 😃😝😝)
Terry, could you please explain what is the meaning of this sentence "Can you be more real!"
hi!
sorry I missed this comment, I suppose It means be more realistic, more true to your own nature
@@EnglishwithTerry Thanks 💖
I wish people would stop waste much time in internet and start communicating more in the real life.
I wish people wouldn't criticize other people...
Nice example!
